Black Diamond at KNoebels was my last coaster I rode

Im actually in that pic lol im in the yellow shirt, I waited over an hour for that ride and must say that it is an awesome ride. Wish the ride line was shorter but it pretty much stayed full all day long lol They did a great job with the ride .

I am very impressed they did what they did now only if they could get Black Diamond going, but I do understand the situation they were in with getting the park back up and running. Can't wait to be back in Oct for the halloween event !!!!!!

I doubt flashback is staying too much longer. I think 2012 is the last year for it and im sure something will go in its place and some stuff will get moved around for it lol

El Toro is awesome, the park itself sucks loll can remember going in the late 90's early 2000's and a ton of flats now its mainly coasters . I just go for events and thats it the park isn't even worth going to for events any more . The only 3 coasters i like are el toro, batman, kingda ka. Skull mountain, DK the mine train aren't bad , but nitro and bizarro is a snooze fest , Green Lantern/chang is pretty good too . Superman is only good for that pretzel loop.

My take on this is im glad Shipwreck falls is leaving, it was a nightmare with many problems and one of the only shoot the chutes that didn't get people wet lol I think the writing is on the wall for flashback, that one has a ton of down time and really isn't that popular anymore. I think 2012 is the final year for flashback as it will probably get moved or destroyed . I have never ridden an inverted boomerang before so it will be a treat i guess to experience one or maybe not lol Six Flags as a company has no clue what they are doing as in terms of placing rides, it seems that they don't send people from the big office around to see that they have a boomerang already and also putting them side by side lol They need to put a team together that can better see what each park has and go why are we putting the same type of coaster next to each other and in the same park . I will take just about any coaster that comes to my home park lol it does suck seeing rides leave

Rhode ISland needs a park. we had one but closed in 1995/1996 due to share holders loosing their butts in the stock market and using profits form the park to pay off debt, the park was profitable until the day it was closed !!!!! Cedar Fair should open one to rival with Lake Compounce, Canobie Lake & Six Flags New England !!!!

Can't wait gonna be fun !!!!!!

I will say Some of these results are on point, but Steel was off.lol I would have seriously gone another way with that. MF is not deserving of it at all. That was my most disappointing Coaster of the year. Bizarro is at my home park, but taking those 2 out, there are still others deserving . IM sure the day is coming soon when those 2 will start falling further behind in the polls !!! Though 10 Year old coasters taking #1 & #2 spots is pretty good in my eyes !!!!

I agree the Kiddie/Family offerings over saturated the park. They are all set for many many many years to come, the reason why people came to the park was the season pass price of 54.99. That is the only reason attendance is higher, thats why season passes are only 59.99 to do the same thing and you would think with the extra money the park made it would have been nice to throw a flat with this carnival coaster. Don't get me wrong I love SFNE, its my home park along with Lake Compounce. I just feel that this whole family thing is out of hand and if they do not lower food prices families will not eat there either, My cousins family of 5 wont eat there too much money. I know many families that wont eat there even with 1 kid because its a rip off for 9.99 for a cheeseburger & Fries, then another 3.50 for a drink. They are making it so that a family can basically just go on rides. You wack them 15 to park, 40+ for a meal, what if they have to buy tickets easily a 300-400 dollar day. This coaster should have been put in 3 years ago, it failed so move on get creative and bring something else in, there are many coasters they could have put in that would have suited thrill seekers and families. Anybody who defends a 10 year old piece of crap needs to have their head examined . The coaster community is already telling their friends that are GP about the coaster so by the time next year rolls around people are going to know. As for the long line..lol at first yes, it will die off quickly as people go I like Pandemonium a lot better

The only thing this coaster is going to do is make attendance go down along with the new parking rules & rapping everybody for every cent they have. Stock holders will be upset when they didnt reach goals next season, if they are smart they will remove CEO , COO and anybody else pulling strings for this crap to happen they have no business being at Six FLags, every park these guys have touched turned to crap now a whole chain is going down in flames !!!!!

Im not correct, but I think SFNE is in the 1.5 - 2 million range of attendance. The problem is we do not have much land for anything, if something comes, things are getting moved or taken out. The SFNE facebook page is taking a beating about this coaster. After thinking about it, it is crap and a hand me down ride. A mouse is a mouse. Not one is better than the other they all do the exact same thing in this type of mouse. We have Pandemonium which in the beginning acts as a spinning mouse with the turns. The big wig's in Dallas did not do their homework on this and flopped big on this, the GP might like it, but coaster community hates it. It is basically a carnival ride. I'll go to the Big E and ride the same thing this year. My kid's want to ride it, I have ridden a lot of these this year and they were all the same..lol The 50th Anniversary for Six Flags is honestly a joke . SFOG gets a Eurofighter. THe Mouse was supposed to go to TGE and that is where is should go they need it and deserve that coaster more then we do. I would be happy to get a flat or 2 back we have in storage. THis is becoming a big mess for SFNE !!!! Bad choice on Management part !!!!
