  1. I've only been on a handful..but as far as my first impression, it would have to be Stormrunner...such an underdog! As far as the most underwhelming, it would have to be Super: The Escape (Backwards).
  2. Ride Lex Luther? Now? Right now? Umm sure? **Swallows handful of Ativan** I am already terrified to ride this but I may as well..I will certainly be kissing the ground when the ride is over.
  3. Is it just me, or is V2 a complete eyesore? The way it just crawls up that 35 degree twisty spike just gets on my nerves...can't say it's much of a thrilling ride either. Hopefully this new attraction will motivate Discovery Kingdom into making some heavy modifications...the drab parking lot underneath Medusa, removing or modifying the most painful SLC in existence, and of course making the pathways less of a maze and more of a...you know...path.
  4. Humbug! I was crossing my fingers for a Rocky Mountain/Intamin Plug N' Play, but this Wingrider could potentially crap all over the rest of the existing wingriders. Height, speed, obstacles, and right beside the lake...I can already see it being a favorite for many..
  5. Yes..I heard. An entire guys face! Yikes! That could give one the opportunity to pitch the idea of a zombie exhibit inside the park!
  6. I'm pretty convinced that the General Public is composed of wimps. The only ride in recent memory that literally felt uncomfortable was Green Lantern: First Flight..but that didn't stop me from riding it again and again. Also, if SkyRush's restraints aren't any worse than El Toro's, then there should be no reason for b*tching. Cut your losses because those restraints are the only thing keeping you from flying out of that train and onto the pavement! The Negative-G's are strong right? Be happy!!
  7. The Miami-Dade County could certainly use a theme park. The nearest theme park is about 200 miles away. Miami is a great tourist city with the restaurants, beaches, and culture..so an investment in an amusement park to compete with the Orlando and Tampa parks wouldn't hurt. Also, I know that the San Francisco Bay Area already has 2 parks in the area (Great America & Discovery Kingdom), but we could honestly use some sort of revamp on both. The Bay Area is heavily populated with both residents and tourists..why are the parks so small? My home park of Six Flags New England was far more impressive in terms of size.
  8. Excellent SFDK photos! Brochure-worthy I'd say!
  9. 1-El Toro 2-Bizarro/Superman: Ride Of Steel (SFNE) 3-Storm Runner <-Am I alone on this? I find it orgasmic! 4-Kingda Ka 5-Nitro 6-Kumba 7-Montu 8-Comet(Hershey) 9-Bizarro/Medusa (SFGadv) 10-SheiKra
  10. Busch Gardens Africa Six Flags New England-x2 Six Flags Great Adventure-x2 Hersheypark
  11. I can't pick between Dorney Park, Hershey Park, Cedar Point or SFGAdv (I went to SF all ready but Kingda Ka was still closed), I'm definitely aiming towards Hershey Park by the end of September. .
