  1. I will be in the area in late May/early June and am hoping to get to this park for a day - will it be busy on a weekday ? School holidays don't start until the end of June correct ? Can't wait for Blue Fire !
  2. I'm gonna try and stop by this park in May when I go to BA so I'll take lots of photos
  3. I'll tell you something funny. At Dreamworld in Australia they have the S TE ride with different theming and it is generally considered the best ride in the park and I think it is totally and neverendingly hilarious that it is considered one of the worst rides at SFMM
  4. my main problem with Viper lately - apart from the general roughness is the last two corkscrews are so slow ALL of your weight is on the harness, it is PAINFUL .
  5. Yeha I was getting a few headaches last week, it depends on alot of things you are right, how much you hve eaten, how hot it is, how much sleep you had the night before, how rough the ride is... many things really... Well I am back in Australia so no more Six Flags fun for me for a while.. I think 6 days in a row was enough anyway .. I will probably be at Universal Studios Singapore next year before I get back to magic Mountain
  6. I know that is the sad thing, we can't do coasters forever... I am 'only' 32 have never blacked/greyed out YET but am finding somethings very uncomfortable like Tatsu's pretzel, Viper in general for roughness, it's all about the smoothest ride I can get these days... Give me Scream, Batman & Terminator anyday, decent enough thrills and nice and smooth.
  7. Well Sunday was an excellent day at the park , warmer than the day before. plus the place was empty. I went straight up and got 2 rides on tatsu, and it isn't that bad but still it's the pretzel that kills me every single time, I haven't blacked out but it is pretty uncomfortable.. then i went straight on down Terminator for a few laps - how many you ask ? Is there a record ? I got 16 laps and only changed seats about 4 times, most were in the back seat. This is by far the best ride in the park. Then I went on Batman twice and then Revolution twice, Viper twice and then went home. Hopefully I'll be back some time next year when the new coaster is ready !
  8. I would say the left and right are when you are sitting in the train in the station facing the front. They have been running the left side all week but today the right side was running instead. Ninja and Riddler were not running Saturday morning. Terminator was great as usual, I only got 5 rides before there were too many people, 3 on Batman, and 3 on Colossus and 2 on revolution then went home . It was pretty busy today, Viper's queue was down the entrance ramp, Tatsu used all lines in the queue, Scream was almost to the entrance. I didn't even bother looking at X2. Last day tomorrow at SFMM before I leave Cali..
  9. Well yeah I thought most people would disagree on my X2 opinion, to me it is one of the worst things in the park yet it is the most popular ! and Tatsu is a great coaster, just the pretzel kills me it would have just scraped into my top 5 if I didn't just about have a heart attack every time . Anyway, I am off to ride Terminator now as many times as I can without getting off.. So far I think 7 is my highest
  10. I went in the afternoon this time so I could go on some in the dark, good stuff. I got there about 2pm, went on Viper a few times, Colossus and Scream and Ninja and then when it was dark went on those 4 again Tomorrow I will be back in the morning and will be straight on Tatsu and then straight to get at least 5 Terminator rides in and then the normal Riddler, Batman, Colossus, Scream combo I have decided I don't like X2. I wish I could have ridden the original X,.. X2 just breaks my damn legs every time I ride it. I am trying to make a list of my top coasters in this park and I have realised it is mostly about comfortability for me from now on 01 - Terminator Salvation - perfect 02 - Goliath - great 03 - Scream - little shaky but nice and smooth mostly 04 - Ninja - mostly smooth 05 - Batman - so tight and fast and yet NOT painful ! these don't even make the list Tatsu - it's just that massive loop that kills me everytime Riddler's Revenge - my ears really don't like this ride Goldrusher - knee breaker Revolution - I like this ride but it is pretty rough Viper - very rough lately... gives me an instant headache everytime, too slow through the barrel rolls and all your weight is on the harnesses.. X2 - leg breaker - definitely not worth more than a 15 minute wait Deja Vu - nothing great at all, don't know why it is so popular, when you are hanging there waiting to drop down - painful !
  11. Another good day at the park today ... Went straight to the back of the park, sat on Terminator for 6 times in a row, then twice on Deja Vu, 5 times in a row on Riddler and 7 on Batman ! then by the time I got down to Scream and Colussus the lines were too long so I went home. Tatsu was closed for half the day just like on Sunday, it was working in the morning but by 12 it was closed and was still closed at 2.30 when I left.. all FX were working on Terminator, the mist is very cool I will be back tomorrow morning probably to do the same 10.30-2.30 before the crowds pack the place..
  12. Well I went on Sunday and it was very quiet.. There WERE alot of cheerleader groups a someone mentioned but still the park was very quiet.. I never waited more than 3 minutes for any ride I practically walked onto x2 and I didn't even run to get there. Goliath is only half painted so I don't think it will be open for Thanksgiving. I hit everything except Terminator (didn't walk past it ) Deja Vu (don't like it) and Tatsu (it was closed in the morning and had a long queue in the afternoon) but I'll be back Wednesday for them anyway. Hope it's as quiet as Sunday was
  13. they've got a pirate ship !!! aren't there only like 3 of these left ? The one that used to be at wonderland in sydney is now at sunway lagoon in Malaysia and then you have this one - is there a 3rd or did it get closed down ?
