  1. FYI, Woodstock doesn't run in rain because the lift uses tires, not a chain. The rain would cause the drive tires to slip.
  2. I'm glad I wasn't the only one saying, "WTF?" about which park was closing.
  3. My first ride on HW's opening day was Howler. Honestly!
  4. I posted to disagree who those that had lumped all CB members into a group of jerks. There are people on both sides of the fence that are extreme, but believe it or not, there are also "normal" people out there. Just because I don't agree with the topic doesn't mean I "don't like the thread."
  5. No bashing from me, ever. I frequent both sites because they both offer things that the other doesn't. Apples & Oranges. I can't stand reading the comments here when both sites are so different. If it was TPR & Amusement Park Review, bashing would probably be warranted, but CoasterBuzz covers news & mostly serious conversations and TPR isn't, and that’s good thing.
  6. I went in December and rode both. ME was a very crappy coaster, but I'm glad I did just to say I did it. CB is a much better ride, but getting to Circus Circus, walking back to the park, finding a ticket booth, waiting in line, and dodging kids may have not been worth it. If you have the money, time, and willingness to get a few more credits, definitely go for it. If you don't get to it, it isn't going to ruin your trip at all.
  7. I would suggest checking out the tutorials in the program. They are very helpful and should answer most, if not all, of your questions.
  8. Four trains just isn't possible because any delay that occurred in the station (which happens frequently) would require an op to run all the way out to the Safety 1 brakes to release the train due to the Ready and Safety 2 brakes being occupied. Maybe they had a weird paint job one (or more) season(s). Or maybe everyone is thinking of Gemini. It wouldn't be the first person to think they were one coaster.
  9. I realize that the actual rides weren't the focus of your question, but I thought I would add that CP's blog announced that TTD wouldn't be part of the early morning fun.
  10. Either Soaked or Wild brought that feature back. I'm not sure which one it was, but I found out through the tutorials, so check there.
  11. I saw KA about two weeks ago, but I don't have a program. As for the show, it was visually impressive, but the continuity of the story needs help. Most of it didn't make much sense.
