  1. Robb & Elissa, Hopefully, this message finds you well. First and foremost, THANK YOU for doing what you do. One can only imagine the amount of work it takes to put a road trip for fourty plus members together. I sincerely appreciate that you are once again offering the raod trips that many people (myself included) love, and have soarly missed. The level of detail that the two of you put into building and offering to TPR members, is nothing short of amazing. Some of my fondest memories were made on TPR road trips. Let me share a couple of my tasty memories, the warm glased cinnamon bread from Silver Dollar City, the cast iron skillet meals, and throwed rolls at Lambert's Cafe... And, did I forget to mention the add-ons? YES, plural. In addition to the AWESOME line-up of theme parks we would be visiting. TPR offered it's members an add-on trip to the World Famous Schlitterbahn water park, and arranged to have the park opened early, exclusively for TPR members, and a visit to City Museum, (Those who have been there know what I'm talking about). #tprrocks! As for the naysayers, TPR trips are not for everyone... Know thyself. Sure, there can be attraction maintenance, unexpected down times, even weather issues, but outliars aside, a TPR Roadtrip, is an unforgettable experience. I have LONGED to experience one of the BIG international TPR trips. Unfortunitly, paying tuition at Columbia University, in the city of New York has not allowed me to do so. Although, having said that, a BIG international TPR trip would be an EPIC way to celebrate my graduation in 2019. So... Please see this post as a request, and hopefully, a VERY early pre-approved application as well. In the meantime I am definitly interested in the TPR USA trip being offered this upcoming summer (provided that their is still space available). PLEASE, let their be space available. With that said, please keep the excitement coming. Sean ~
  2. Hey Robb, this is what I got when searching “Roller Coaster”. Question, we’re people not able to access TPR coaster videos.
  3. My reaction to the Hangtime announcement was... Oh yeah, it's on now. Knott's Berry Farm, is getting one kick ass coaster, and I can't wait to ride it.
  4. This ride looks Awesome! I am looking forward to riding this. Well don't Cedar Fair. Knott's was in need of some love. Hopefully, this trend of amazing additions continues for 2019. One can hope? Can't they? This was a much needed attraction. Now, if we can just get that hyper or Giga coaster. Well hell, if I'm going to wish then why not ask for a themed custom looping MACK coaster, a re-imagine BigFoot Rapids , and themed Vakoma mine train coaster that interacts w/it, and let's round out the wish list with a complete restoration an RMC custom woodie, & custom T Rex coaster featuring six inversions including two interlocking vertical loops (that loop at the same time), a new entrance, and new landscaping park wide. Again this is wishful thinking.
  5. Perhaps, a few adrenaline pumping heavily themed flat rids, e.g. the much adored Giant Star Flyer, a Zamperla Giant Discovery, a Zamperla Endeavour or a Wickedly themed Vekoma Mad House.
  6. Cagey of them indeed, dear boy, cagey indeed. Do keep us posted should your alter ego, "Sherlock Holmes, The Worlds Greatest Detective" stumble across any clues.
  7. Great photos, Chuck! Well done, mate. The detailed update is appreciated. Height not withstanding, InvadR is shaping up to be the perfect transition for emerging "tweens", not quite ready for "FULL ON" excitement of Alpengeist or Griffen. Although, having said that, the burning question I have is will Busch Gardens Tampa be receiving a similar treatment or will they decide to kick it up a notch by adding a customised original, RMC creation, think Wildfire at Kolmården, but will perhaps feature RMC's firs vertical loop on a woodie... Wishful thinking, I concur. Although, having said that, it could happen. That is if they are fortunate enough to receive a new wooden coaster, which hopefully they are.
  8. Facebook, Youtube, Tumbler and Twitter. I know more than one, but the more the merrier.
  9. What an fantastic trip report. I have not been to Cedar Point for HalloWeekends. It looks like a lot of fun. In addition, you took some amazing photos. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Now that I think about it, some cold fog, lots of bubble and of course some type of water effect would definitely give "Voyage to the Iron Reef" a more polished feel. Although, even without those things It is not a bad ride.
  11. I had the opportunity to ride Voyage to the Iron Reef today and would agree it is a giant video game. Albeit, a very fun video game that families will enjoy. One sad note is that the queue moved quite slowly to the point that several people reversed their direction and left. However, for those of us who braved the queue, it was a brilliant family ride for the park. What were you expecting... Spiderman? Now with that out of the way, I am silently praying Knott's will receive a new entrance and a Giga coaster as that seems to be the standard with Cedar Fair as of late. We are in dire need of a couple of new adult (Thrill seeker coasters), Ghost Rider desperately needs an RMC Iron Horse Face lift, add a few adult flat rides and a Chiapas style flume ride and Hell, you would have one sweet jar of jam (Boysenberry of course). What are your thoughts?
  12. Excellent media day report! The photos were brilliant and the coaster looked stunning at night. I haven't been back to the park since "Outer Limits Flight of Fear" now simply "Flight of Fear" opened more that ten years ago. Oh how I miss the GIANT Huss SkyLab attraction. Unlike Orbiter at CW, SkyLab reached a near vertical position and have the photos to prove it. It was an Awesome ride. I'm hoping to make a cameo appearance to Kings Island some time this summer. Thanks for sharing your trip report Andy. King's Island is a beautiful park. As for "The Bat", what at great way to honor a "Classic".
  13. Amazing photos man. Thanks for sharing. What fond yet scorchingly hot memories. The countdown to Scandi has begun.
