  1. A major upset for me was SFA. When i was there, Batwing was down, as well as Two-Face. Superman was a decent ride, but i felt they could have added more to it, airtime wise at least. Thier SLC was just the same as any ol' hang n' bang, very dissappointing. Wildone and Roar were the only coasters which were pretty good, IMHO. Dissappointing for going 4 hours out of my way on the way home. The eating areas were also disguisting, as well as the arcades.
  2. I think what PKI did was stretching a line a bit. You cannot stop smokers, for they will still smoke. I have no problem with smoking, but, like previously mentioned, smokeing sections which some parks have are a better idea then just banning smoking. It might even cause attendence to decrease, as smokers would rather spend an enjoyable day at a park where they can do something which they are habitual in doing. They don't want to have to give up something they like to have fun.
  3. For me, it's pretty much any Catch22, Less Than Jake, Rufio, or Goldfinger song. I just like anything that puts me in a good mood, or makes me want to get up and dance. But, in retrospect, "Emo" music is a good form of population control.
  4. I haven't been to the tower since they had added X-Scream, and I am not one to judge on topics I don't know about, but there is probably a strick policy about loose items on that ride as well.
  5. you actually have a good point though, that can be considered a hazard. It would be somewhat funny watching it fall all the way down, unless the centrifugal motion just pushed it back onto the bodies of the riders. Insanity does look like a pretty crazy ride though, but i don't think it's that "insane" of a ride. The only factor that would make me want to ride it is the height.
  6. The hotels suggested are probably good choices. From my experienece, I reccomend anything outside of the immediate area of SFA. I was going to stay at a hotel in town, saw it, and ended up driving home at midnight because of the quality of it. Traveling down to DC, and staying at a moderate Holiday Inn, or something along those lines might be a good decision, even if you might have to pay a little more.
