  1. Dude are you serious!!!! I said I let it go, but thanks for jumping on the band wagon! Let's move on...
  2. There really isn't anything to let go and my tone merely mirrored the way the follow-on post went, I mean really the only issue is the intolerability of someone's post if it doest match up to another poster views, so yeah I've been on the Internet, but I've let it go, I just hope we can get back to civility and have a discussion without being dismissed for having an opinion or different point of view!
  3. The funny thing is that some people fail to read or understand the basics of a post and in this case my post! Clearly a park such as Magic Mountain has the ability to run a coaster all over, under, and through that place, but astetically and operationally is that always a great move? Remember this park is not like most others where they can close for several months to prep and build without it affecting day to day operations of other rides and attractions. There are cramped parks everywhere and that's exactly what they look like packed to the bream with things! If this or any park starts to approach a point where expansion isn't really possible at the time, the option of dismantiling older things to make way for newer things! If Magic Mountain installs let's say a Giga for $hits an Giggles, then no matter where it is in the park is gonna run over, around, and maybe under something at least once. I stated that - that AREA ALONE can't support something of that caliber but obviously a creative department can place anything anywhere. I find it ridiculous to cry about, and hate on my post without understanding the words within! You don't always have to jump on the bandwagon to be liked, my opinion is mine just as yours is yours buddy!
  4. Why would you come at me like that? My comment/question was based off the notion of; if the park built most of their coasters along the parks boarder and they truly have, and this forum is wishing for a large coaster to replace Deja Vu; where would a great place to squeeze one in truly exist? Due to that previous land clearing and the void that the Vu would leave is causing some people to think that it's being prepared for something new and most enthusiast want the big dawgs. So based off arieal view, that area alone would not accommodate a large coaster like a hyper, giga or whatever else that's exceptional in height or length without it being stacked all over surrounding areas and attractions and in my opinion that might cause that area to look extremely cluttered! I'm sure they would hopefully apply thought and not just plop a ride down without careful consideration but I was just thinking through this forum and not talking out my butt. And just to be clear, I thought the land surrounding magic mountain was still owned by the Newhall land and Farming Company or Newhall Ranch which is why they haven't expanded in any of those directions and built Scream, Goliath, Green Lantern in their locations and Tatsu on the hill which produced that awesome custom layout. I had no idea you'd or anybody else would respond so snarky over a question that I had but I'm prepared for the flame spray to begin I guess over this one!!!
  5. As fun as those Mega-lites look, I think replacing the Vu with one of those would be just replacing a low capacity ride with another! I was looking at an aerial view of that area and I can't really see room for an exceptionally large anything back there except some flat ride! Magic Mountain seems like it's maxed out it's usable space for large full circuit coasters! I remember an employee on a tv show stating that the unique thing about this park was that all of the big coasters with the exception of a few were placed along the parks boarders, if that technically true, then where could they put a true Deja Vu replacement? Just food for thought!
  6. I hope it's much tighter than that video! That inverted dive is probably the most spectacular aspect of this ride besides the train design. I'd love to see an action packed version of this concept here in the states.
  7. The blond looks like Meleena from Mortal Kombat!
  8. One thing that you have to consider is when a park designs a coaster the name usually is already chosen most of the time, but also the coaster type represents the feel that the park wants, like an out of control, fast, yet not overly thrilling enough to entertain a lots of peeps. The only coaster type that I could really see other than this unexpected wooden design would have been like a MotorBike Coaster with area special effects like the movie trailers. I'm cool with this and really pleased to see them going the extra steps to engage regular visitors and not the over zealous critics.
  9. How many vipers have you actually heard of being made of steel, or how many mavericks have you seen or heard of racing on looping roads? The point I'm trying to make is that this is a coaster and not everything has to be so literal. Some of you guys and gals can be so critical over little silly things but really over look the fact that regardless of the theme, it still looks like a fun coaster. I know everyone has their own opinion and I truly respect that, but now it just sounds like complaint after complaint. While your riding, are you really gonna be saying " I still don't see how a wooden rollercoaster has to do with an apocalyptic movie"? My guess is probably not. Anyway lets just enjoy the fact that Magic Mountain is actually Theming this coaster and hopefully this sort of attention carries on to future attractions as well. This is very exciting.
  10. The cars look cool. I think that a wooden coaster gives a more out of control feel that most wooden coasters go for which makes perfect sense for this coaster. A steel coaster would have worked no doubt but it would have been expected and probably met with the same critics like this one was. Anyway, I think many of you are dogging the front panels a little to harshly considering that you'd probably never really see them since they'll be connected to another car. I only hope that the actual lead car don't have that ugly bannister that the older MF trains have and have a truly original lead car or a bannisterless front like prowler. I guess we'll see Sunday.
  11. But still the Journey To Atlantis Ride in San Diego is still fun. I can't wait to see this in person myself.
  12. ^^ That deadman turn is almost a reverse of the first turn on Gwazi - On Gwazi, you hit that pop first then enter the high bank turn like i said before in Reverse. I'm loving the way this coaster is looking. And that pop should be very cool. I added a POV Link of Gwazi from RCPro http://www.rollercoasterpro.com/onride_videos/grazi_f/video.html
  13. I remember this game.......lol! I had the original on my NES long time ago, i thought it was horrible, i was so upset that I wasted my allowance on a super boring game. But this looks ..... well updated for sure, and i hope it is so much better than the original for the Wii owners out there.
  14. That's what i was talking about before, I think that gate is weird looking but without it I can imagine a great un-obstructed view...... On their site off to the left, there is a train tracking without that banister thing.....
