  1. Gamertag: Raider82 Games: Anything really
  2. slicknixon don't forget about Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour for the Sega Dreamcast. It was a Mario Kart knock-off that featured tracks which are loosely based on real Walt Disney World rides, such as Splash Mountain, Dinosaur, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
  3. This game has been rumored to be in the works since 2007 so I doubt that it is something that will simply be canceled and not released. Warren Spector has helped with some pretty critically acclaimed games so I'm interested to see how the project turns out. The concept art is defiantly different from what I would expect from a Disney title. I can't really judge the game from these early images. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of game it is - as far as the genre, gameplay, who the main character is, etc. I personally loved the Kingdom Hearts games and hope that this game brings some of that iconic Disney characters, and familiar places we got to visit in the KH universe. Speaking of KH I've always wondered by Disney hasn't greenlight a move based off the game, it just seems like a no brainier.
  4. I think by far it would have to be the Georgia Cyclone. Gave me a headache and I was screaming in pain during the whole ride, not fun at all.
  5. I am going to be in Orlando around the time time of the event, 5 Days with the Mouse and possibly 2 at Universal Orlando using the free ticket offer from the Superbowl. I have never been to Halloween Horror nights before, and was very excited about the event this year until I saw two things. One is the price. $69.99 for a ticket is a little bit expensive IMO. I see that there are discounts for FL residents and for the Stay and Scream Package, but I can get neither. Unless Universal would let me use the free ticket as part of the Stay & Scream, anyone know? So does everyone here think the price is worth it? Second I have heard how crowded the event is. I have read that the event gets so big that the waits for each of the houses average about an hour each, not leaving enough time to see all the houses and shows in one night. Again can anyone validate this? I would probably be going around October 2nd.
  6. I don't thinks so because it is at Freestyle Music Park this year.
  7. Yeah I am not sure what HRP Creative wants Freestyle to do besides tear down all the buildings and rides and re-build them from scratch. Plus how can they claim they own the designs to rides? Don't the manufactures own that? They must really want money any way they can get it.
  8. I figured that was the case, didn't want to make anyone mad. I can post more pictures in here if people are really interested, I just was being lazy.
  9. I went to the media event today and have an update for all those that are curious. Today Freestyle Music Park unveiled two new things: a sign and a show. The new sign replaces the old sign on Hard Rock Parkway with a new Freestyle Music Park sign that looks like it will light up at night. The sign is only one sided though which I found odd, so if your coming off of 501 you will be able to see the sign, but if you are coming from the opposite direction by the Myrtle Beach Church you will see nothing. Overall a cool looking sign. The parks new show is called Flip5Live The Rock And Rageous and is located in the Live Amphitheater where all of HRP’s concerts used to be held. It looks like all of the equipment from the Roadies Stunt Show and some from the Malibu Beach Show have been transported to this new stage show area. Most of the black speakers from the Roadies show are now painted a bright orange and yellow color. There are also brightly painted stars everywhere. The show is geared towards families with younger children, I got a very Kids Bop/High School Musical/Yo Gabba Gabba! feeling. Kids are going to be encouraged to sing and dance along with the show and will even have there own kids mosh pit area. During the show there is singing, dancing, acrobatics, and stunts using trampolines. A show like this makes sense in this section of the park because it is by the Kids In America area, but it is a shame to lose the concert section. Kids and families will like this show adults and teens not so much. The Kids In America section of the park look like it is coming along nicely, with most of the rides looking complete. Park hours for Memorial Day weekend are going to be 11 am to 10 pm. Beyond that there isn’t much else known yet. Also there are going to be local discounts, and giveaways during the park’s opening. The park also announced that they are going to be working with military, police, emt, firefighters, etc. to let them in for free. I will update if I receive more information. There was a lot of other changes in the park that I noticed that I am not sure if I am allowed to disclose yet. If I can I will let you know about it. I have a additional pictures of the event up on my web site but not sure if I'm allowed to post the link as I don't know if it's against the rules. If I can I will.
  10. Did everyone see what they are doing to the Zeppelin? They are painting it PINK! I took these pictures this morning. Also there was a crane as tall as the Led Zeppelin on site by the ride with what looked like someone looking over the track.
  11. While I agree with a lot of what has been said so far - having a night time ticket, more water rides, I do not really think that price is that much of an issue as most of you seem to think. Let's look at some of the many other attractions at the Beach to do: Myrtle Waves (Water Park) - $30 MagiQuest - (Interactive park think Harry Potter) - $34.99 for 90 mintues Nascar Speedpark (GoKart Racing) - $32 Pavilion Nostalgia Park (Amusment type rides) - 9 Ride Tickets $20.00 & 25 Ride Tickets $50.00 Ripley's Aquarium - $18.99 That's just a few of the many attractions, not to mention dinner shows like Medieval Times, Dixie Stampede etc. So as you can see the park is pretty much inline with many of the attractions in Myrtle Beach. The only extra is the parking fee - which maybe they could drop. I think the biggest problem is competing with all those other attractions - along with the beach, and golf.
  12. Just found this on the Universal Orlando website, as I was checking it out to see if they had their Superbowl Ad up yet. The first 100,000 people to enter at http://www.universalheroes.com/ after the Superbowl Ad will win a free 7-day ticket! Just thought I would give the heads up to everyone, have your computers ready while you watch the Superbowl! Go Steelers! Good Luck Everyone! Hope everyone wins some free tickets.
