  1. Hurry up! You don't have long before it breaks again. Got the cred and all the others as well except the 2 kiddy coasters!
  2. Hopefully I get it either today or tomorrow. First time ever at Cedar Point and probably won't be back for a while!
  3. Conneticut Delaware District of Columbia Florida Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New Hampshire (I think!) New York Pensylvania Rhode Island Virginia West Virginia From my 4 trips to the States!
  4. England Scotland Wales France Italy Vatican City Switzerland Austria Germany Belgium The Netherlands Denmark Sweden Finland Russia Estonia The USA and Canada! Not a bad haul for someone my age, I like travelling and will hopefully visit every continent someday.
  5. Apparently it was going to be relocated in a small park in Cornwall. http://www.rcdb.com/pd1508.htm but obviously that isn't going to happen now. The infomation on the coasters RCDB page suggesting a relocation seems to of disapeared though. http://www.rcdb.com/id862.htm
  6. I've found very very few Brits that prefer American candy bars. Most of them tell me "it's crap!" As I said it's really weird, all my friends who have tried both tend to like the American stuff more! Why i'm not a great fan of normal Hershey Bar's, I would gladly trade virtually any British chocolate (bar Matchmakers)for the Cookies and Cream flavour anyday! Also Jolly Ranchers and Nerds are two things I wish I stocked up on when I visited the States last Summer!
  7. It really is bizarre that we Brits find American chocolate like Hershey Bar's and Oreos to be awesome over here. Yet you guys think the same about our chocolate which we consider to be average compared to yours! And the best British chocolate i'd have to recommend would be Mint flavoured Matchmakers, buy them if you seem them!
  8. I know that most posters here are American, but I refuse to call the beautiful game soccer, it's called football! Anyway... English Championship (League below the Premiership) 23rd December Plymouth Argyle (My team) 2-2 West Bromich Albion 2 - 2 But what a great game full of action, was annoying how they caught up from 2 goals behind though.
  9. I visited in the opening season of Daemonen (Summer 2004) and god that park kicked ass. It seriously has to be the most underrated park I have ever visited, and Daemonen has to be the most underrated floorless ever. Good TR and it looks like you enjoyed it as much as I did.
  10. Er Tussauds are owned by Dubai Investment Capital, hardly a poor company, and I don't really see how the UK park industry is in a bad state, one park has closed recently and thats only because of Amanda Thompsons awful management, Southport was on the up a few years ago, now when Amanda Thompson takes over it fails. Apart from Tussuads, there are currently Flamingoland, Oakwood Drayton Manor and BPP who aren't doing badly financially. Infact the only major park I can think of which is failing badly is Lightwater Valley.
  11. Easily Starcraft and its expansion Starcraft Brood War.
  12. The Oblivion advert which was screened in 1998 just before the ride opened. It was awesome and it had the perfect atmosphere for what was at the time a terrifying ride! http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/interact/videos/oblivionad.htm Even if Oblivion might be short compared to some newer coasters with a larger drop or better layout like SheiKra it's still a great coaster!
  13. Couldn't be any further than the truth. The South is by far the best part of the UK! Why you say? Because we have Flambards Village Theme Park oh and Thorpe and Chessington, and before you ask Alton is in the midlands! Not the South or the North!
  14. I can describe Nemesis in three words. Short but snappy. It has to be the best invert i've ridden. (Inferno, Montu and both Dueling Dragons) It may be short and it may not have the most amazing statistics but the ride feels so much faster than those other B&M's due to the consistant accerleration though 3/4's of the ride. It seems to get better every season, and i've been on it every year since 2001 multiple times with the exception of 2003.
