I was at EAS yesterday and talked to some guys at the Mauer Sohne stand(awsome guys, they gave so much info!). As far as they knew, RRR would be open during the Halloween period. It could be close during the night if they want to work on it though.

Mhh, considering what I've hear today I think this ride might hold a very big surprise to all of you

They got a stay for the whole family in Bosrijk. But no, no life-time pass for these guys. Then again, the largest group of fans isn't so sure that this really is the 100.000.000 visiter. Sure they had more than 100.000.000. But according so some calculations that person should have entered the gates a few months back. Also, its very typical that again a family wins, and not some fan of small couple.... But well, they got their 100.000.000 and thats the most important!

This weekend the Dutch themepark The Efteling had something to celebrate. the 100.000.000 visiter since its opening in 1952 visited the park. this is 18 years after the 50.000.000 milion visiter visited the park in 1991. The estimation fot this year is somewhere around 4 million visiters. Fun fact, in 1991 the pegassus openend, now 50.000.000 visiters later it closed photo's of the happy family: The park is still expanding. With their new sleeping resort opening this december, their new dueling GCI woody in june 2010 and the new theatre/restaurant The Raveleijn in 2011 JohanR

Hey, The Dutch Coaster and Themepark community just received the best coaster news of the year: The Efteling is going to replace the Pegassus wooden coaster with 2 brand new, dueling woodies. The current name is ' Joris en de Draak' (George and the Dragon). It will be 25 meters tall, and around 1400 meters long. Also, it'll feature 4 trains. Who will build it is yet unknown, but most dutch fans expect GCI to build it since the guys were seen in the park some time ago. Also, wether the total amount of track will be 1400 or each ride is also unknown. Stats: Height: 25M Length: 1400M(together or a track is yet unknown) Number of trains: 4 Capacity: 1700 P/PH Max Speed: 75 KM/PH Min length: 1.10M Second, a new, 900 seater theatre will open in 2011, the Ravelijn. It will also be used as restaurant and for parkoffices. Also, in December this year, the new hotel will open, with a lot of free standing houses around it!
