Well if there is significant changes over the next 2 weeks I'll try and cycle down and take some snaps for you, after that I'm off to uni so they'll have to be quite quick. Work on the cyclone is not visible from the road, I didn't even realise they had been chopping it up until I came on the net and I drove past there today. Fences have appeared around the complex and some diggers too, if there are any significant changes I'll see what I can do.

Hey guys, I live in Southport and I was quite shocked to see them close it with all the investment in the area recently, a new indoor water place opens next year just across the road, and there are plans for other tourist things around the place. But this is life. The rumours running around at the moment (I'm 99% on this but I haven't read this as confirmed) is that the TraumaTizer will be relocated to BPB instead. Andy

I should be able to meet up at Southport PleasureBeach, considering I can get there 5-10 minutes from my house. Blackpool isn't too far either!

For me it has to be Expedition:Everest at DAK, purely because for me this is going to be an experience, not just a coaster. For instance, there is a story to the ride, animatronics, special effects, plus it is a roller coaster with forwards and backwards motion. Having loved ROTM at Universal Studios, I think EE will be the next advancement in roller coasters combined with special effects. Plus the detailing on this attraction is outstanding. The imagineers have been to the himalyas to get authenticity and thats why I'm looking foward to it most, as well as the fact that I don't manage to get to many themeparks other than Disney, but we all know Disney is an industry leader anyway, so its not really a problem.

At first I thought, 'No it can't be', then I saw you guys at Cinemagique, right next to me infact, and I thought it might be, and now I know. It looked like you filmed too? I saw someone from your area with a camera. Well, if you filmed the big screen I was on that! I'll try and sort a video as soon as I've uploaded to my computer!

Great trip report guys. This is my first post here even though I've seen your videos in the past. Glad you had a great time at DLRP, infact I was there at the same time! On the 3rd of July, it was my 18th Birthday and I was at DLRP for my first ever trip there. Also happened to be at the stunt show at the same time as you. I recognised Elissa from your ioa movie but I wasn't 100% sure it was you, and I was too shy to ask when I was stood next to you at cinemagique queue! I've attached a photo of Elissa in her acting role at the stunt show! We also have a full video. Oh and by the way, I'm also from Southport, glad you enjoyed Pleasureland!!!
