Thanks for the photos Hanno! I liked this park also, Speed Monster ERT was fun, rod ops were slow but good, definitely thorough on the Vekoma!

Hey All- Here are some more pics from SFGAm Goliath construction tour. I am not great with all the details, looks like many have been covered already! Brandon from the park was great and we had a good time looking around at the site. It is interesting to see how much they are going to fit into such a small footprint! I'm glad we braved the cold (it was f'ing cold!!) and hung out for a while! Thank you Robb and Brandon for setting this up! I think my toes have finally thawed out Here we are, 8 degrees and snowing, ready to go? Our gracious host Brandon, handing out our hardhats!! just inside the train tracks at the back of the park. some track is down... the tunnel is going to pretty sweet.. old Iron Wolf Station more station. I believe the lift will be going up here? we got to walk through the maintenance shed, Eagle cars are looking good! check WGN morning news on Monday.. several from the group were interviewed!

Really quite fun if you get a few good flips of the car in!

I think its great to have these delayed trip reports. I love being reminded of such a great trip (even though it was the end) more than a month later. Thanks Robb and Elissa, your really did a spectacular job putting this one together. Hope to do it again next year!

Great pics! I made my first visit to D-land when I was 6 (1970). We just have the slides my dad took. Wonder if those can be transferred to jpg files? Have the holes in the Matterhorn mountain where the skyway goes through been filled in?

I'm curious, can anyone explain what a mounting bracket is exactly? Is that what the brakes are attached to??? Anyone have pictures? Thanks
