  1. due to the height graph its not an immlemann but a dive loop. Immlemann would be going forward low, pulling up into a half loop and twisting to level at the top. This is if I read layout right a tall hill that at the top has a barrel roll that continues upside down again and then pulls down (up to riders) into a dive loop. Very easy to do high up in the air. Low speeds and low forces if you do it right. Watch full throttle dive into the tunnel. Very similar element
  2. With a 165 foot lift hill, couldnt a coaster like this have dual lift speeds like with bull? Or unloading/loading stations?
  3. If you consider viper has about 1000 per hour... to only have this capacity with a ride more popular than bull would be unacceptable. Do you really expect it to be that low?
  4. I have big expectations for this rides capacity. I love 2wide trains but hope they are very very long. Long trains create more forces and more varity of forces based on seats. I hope it has near record length trains for capacity and ride quality. I love the hanging feeling in the front of a long train, forces in the back, and sight of a long train esp. In an inversion. Since this will clearly be the most popular ride in the park... and most likely only two train operation I expect some insane cue lines if it uses short trains.
  5. I agree woodies dont need new tech or gimmicks to be awesome. Eagle, viper, and hellcat are all in my top ten coasters. Eagle is a classic that marked the final reign of a woodie for height and speed. It was a perfect envelope pusher. Viper is a famous clone executed to perfection. And hellcat is jamming an epic ride in a tiny footprint. The thing is you have to accept some things are here to stay and some fall by the wayside too soon. Standup coasters were a fad. Btr was the first suspended coaster and is the most copied and cloned ride anywhere. People always want to copy the new fad in coasters. If people want a gimick or two then fine... as long as they dont interrupt ride pacing or forces. People want to bring back cutting edge tech to woodies and I say awesome...as long as form follows function. An epic coaster has great forces, pace, and well placed elements within its land footprint. I am super excited for this ride, and think it might give good argument for removal of a few rides in the future. I also really do hope we eventually get a gforce machine in the form of a mega launch coaster or a mega looper of some sort. The park really had an awesome chill factor when shockeave was up front and no ride in the park is as fear inducing. No other ride had quite so much going on. So many elements so much speed and such an awesome appearance in one ride was a huge loss we are still trying to replace. We really do need rides that are awesome because they push the limits but if they dont have an awesome park buzz creating presence, awesome pace and great forces... they really are not what our park needs. I can make a strong argument that btr is the most intense ride in the park. While we have added many great rides since 2002 I think our park is really less intense than it was in 2001-2002.
  6. I noticed the Mr Six pointing to the X hat too.... I was convinced it was going to be a 4d.... then told myself its an X flight hat.... Then they leaked the wooden coaster info
  7. I wouldnt mind an intamin or even an S&S if they are still in the game. Ive never been on an rmc or gci but gg scares me. Hades is the roughest coaster ever. Pre 360 it made shockwave look glass smoothe. I dont like bruises or massive headaches from rides
  8. I keep looking at the space availavble and Ive realized a few tough choices they had to make.. Either a crazy tight twisting multi inversion beast or a launched wooden coaster are the most likely possibilities. It makes me happy we wont have an el toro type clone because bull is similar style and theme and space restrictions. Airtime twisters arent my thing. This could be the most twisted extreme wooden coaster ever! If not then it almost certainly is a launched - and the first of its kind.
  9. Everyone seems to rule out the fastest wooden coaster record. Eagle on 127 ft hill 147ft drop on ancient tech does 66. If you have a monstrously long train and a lift chain moving fast you can have a train moving 10+mph over the hill. With a near vertical 175 foot drop and 10mph head start 74mph is easily doable. Plus there are also launch or boost possibilities. You never know. What theyll incorporate these days. Who knows... Ive always wanted a high speed dual speed lift hill to "throw" a train over the first hill. And technically you could include a lim launch or boost system in a wooden coaster, it just has never been done.
  10. What about... American Eagle. The World's Tallest, Fastest wooden coaster with the highest drop! Eagle could become the second ever (and only) Hyper-wooden coaster.
  11. I'm going to throw this out there.... What about the return of a Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang or other Vekoma coaster? It was taken out to disapproval -- I was there six times when it was standing and never got to ride it once. Its mechanical problems were great, and nobody really knew why they removed it and replaced it with BB. Think about the theme of the latest teaser video. --There are two "impacts" such as the two towers/drops, In every scene there are blue/green colors that match Deja Vu, "David" looks at the blue/green corkboard wall after the punch clock scene... Deja Vu had awards (the display case) and one of the Deja-Vu rides was named Goliath after it was moved and re-themed. The throwback maps (there are at least 5 in the teaser video) all had Deja Vu on them... and the only "new" map had the spot that is survey flagged marked area is in the park covered up, and yes, this spot would fit several Vekoma coaster styles. Also This would require a height variance and be around 160 Ft tall, and would have almost ZERO fear of being turned down since a similar ride was there in the past.
  12. Other questions..... Is that a freaking burning demon thing on the golf cart front at :42?
  13. Hint #1.... MAINT_CAM_085 clock is @ 2:29 clock on camera is at 00:01:47:03
  14. Who says its not something crazy like a launch wingrider from b&m or a 4d from b&m.... Or maybe multi.lift.hills. Who knows 7 inversions was my guess and I say that makes one insanely jam packed ride if.you only have energy from a 125 foot hill.
