  1. How freaky! The guy in the dark top next to the girl in blue and white is ME! I was thinking for ages 'Those people look familiar' LOL.
  2. ^ Alot of people have been having the problem with G spikes, but I can assure you they are a glitch in the game. When NL has a large amount of 3ds to deal with it causes the forces to go all whacked out when riding in first person. If you watch the train in fly view and test the G's that way the g forces should be fine, and shouldnt go above 5.3. I used Tia's Object Creator to make the scenery, its a really basic program which is why some parts of the 3ds look a bit blocky, but its the best I could do with the program.
  3. Its probably because its been track packaged? You need to download the track packager to install the track.
  4. PROJECT XENON: RECONFIGURED Story: Deep in the old Darkwater quarry a secret government facility was build to test out a strain of the Xenon element at a high radiation intensity. The experiments were gruelling and most morally wrong to the test subjects, who were all convicts taken from death row and military prison camps discreetly. The base was highly classified. Earlier this morning, a number of emergency transmissions were recieved before abruptly stopping, and radio silence from the base since. A contaminant is feared, all staff pressumed dead. You have been selected from a highly specialised group of recon soldiers to enter the base and find out what happened.. Description: Welcome to Xenon: Reconfigured. One of my older, original tracks completely redone to its original concept - A ride in which the actuall queueline is part of the experience. Featuring an emersive queueline to completely set the mood, with flickering lights, sounds taking the brave rider through a number of scenes, including destroyed laboratories, staff changing areas and even through a bloody bathroom scene. You then are taken to the actual ride itself, an intense experience to rival famous rides such as Black Mamba and Nemesis, the ride flows around the terrain of the old quarry and features many close calls with walls, waterfalls, machinery and the ride itself, while staying almost completely hidden under tree height, this small rollercoaster packs a punch. Ride Stats: Height -120 feet Speed - 53 mph Length - 2563 feet Inversions: 4 - Immelman - Zero-G Roll - Loop - Corkscrew Other Features: -Overbanked hill -Airtime Hill -Prelift section -3 Helixs -Massive inside section of the ride G Force: 5.3G's Cost - $26,000,000 More pictures can be found here: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p4204 A preview video of the ride can be found here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=QJPdJD5Drzc Copyright 2008 - André Northan Massive thanks to everyone whos helped! 5. It took about 6 months, from start to finish, but that was while juggling a busy social and work life. Xibalba is actually sposed to be pronounced 'She-bahl-bah' for anyone whos wondering, and its the name of the mayan underworld. The coaster was inspired by maverick, hence all the references to it and the similar layout, and the theming was inspired by the old film 'Road to Eldorado' if anyones watched it.
  6. Xibalba Project Name: Mya Story: An excentric Invertor / explorer has invented a new type of hovering machine in which he plans to explore harsh terrains in. You are his test dumbies. Taking you on an expedition to Peru into the heart of a jungle ridden area filled with a number of ancient Mayan temples he planned to test the machine out exploring the regions temples in search of the great Cuzco's treasure, and also to find out more about the legendary 'Rapa' creatures. Unfortunately, the maiden flight goes horrifically wrong when the train falls into a trap and gets blasted out of the large temple, while the explorers desperatly tried to control the machine as it raged through the jungle narrowly missing rocks, columns and tunnels. Finally managing to regain the machine, the explorers find themselves in the forbidden Rapa's temple, which was cursed by the legendary creatures themselves. Feeling the uneasy feeling of being watched, the vehicle and explorers foolishly advanced further into the temple, causing the curse to instigate apon its victims, hurtling the train forwards at breakneck speeds! Welcome to Xibalba. You are about to become the twelve explorers on that original terrifying trip. Description: Xibalba is the main attraction in the parks hugely immersive new Mayan themed area 'ElDorado Ruins'. The second Tera coaster in the world, Xibalba features a 95 degree past vertical drop, along with a massive LIM launch, a number of inversions, extreme ejector airtime, and close calls with trees, caves, temples and the monorail. The new area is home to the new 'El Dorado' Restaurant and a number of huge temples and jungle foliage. Great views of the area can be seen from the parks monorail, which passes through the new ride. The coaster has partically been constructed by hand, and partially by AHG. All supports hand made along with all of the 3d scenery, which was created using the Object Creator. The track pretty much passes the tunnel test, using the old style steel tunnels, except for a few exceptions in areas in the station etc. Please dont mark down for these Ride Stats: Height -110 feet Speed - 66 mph Length - 4093 feet Inversions: 2 - Inline Twist - Immelman (110ft) - 4 Overbanked turns - 3 Ejector Airtime hills G Force: 5.2G's Cost - $24,000,000 More pictures can be found here: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p3524 Thanks to: Tia - Object Creator and all textures used from it Richard, Ed & Danny - Ideas and putting up with me. 7. Okay well I’ve decided to write a trip report and the likes. Yay for me. I might ramble on but ill try and keep it entertaining-ish We reached the park at about 12’o’clock-ish after getting hopelessly lost in Nottingham after following Marks (Mushroom) sat nav around the place. It’s the demanding kind that orders you to do stuff “Turn left now.” I personally thing that a please now and again wouldn’t go amiss. Or maybe a “Turn left now, if you wish.” That’s much more polite and friendly. But getting back onto subject.. we arrived in the carpark to find 2 coaches and about 5 to 6 cars. In total. The park was literally deserted. I felt quite sorry for the park. We reached the park entrance “plaza” thing.. there were two attendants, both old men. One of them was in the ticket booth and the other one was sitting on a chair sleeping. Lol. They were very friendly though, as was most other staff in the park.. so thumbs up for that count (except for the very MEAN LADY on the mine train. She shouted at me and was mean and I didn’t like her.) First ride of the day was Twin Looper. Once you’ve gotten over the fact that it has double loops =O it gets boring.. because the rest of the ride is just right turns. But its cool because the attendant couldn’t be bothered to unharness us as there was nobody around so she just let us go round a couple more times before we got bored. This ride has Siamese loops. Deformed but we still love them The rest of the layout is just right turns. I think the designer was having an off day. Maybe. After that we went on this weird digger ride called the Digger Depot. An old attendant (I swear this park is where old people in the area retire to?!) led us our very own stationary JCB diggers and let us scoop gravel. That was entertaining for a short while, but after the initial “YAY I moved gravel” wore off I got bored and attempted to get the scoop arm to throw the gravel at Ed. It didn’t work tho. *hangs head in shame* After that we went on the buffalo coaster which was pretty standard. But it did have an amusing figure on it (you can see it in this picture http://www.rcdb.com/ig809.htm?picture=1 it’s the fat man in the middle of the train. Hah.) We then went on some small insignificant rides until we reached the mine train… which is still just as fast, rough and intense as before. Yays. Its younger cousin Mine train 2 (well, I cant remember its actual name.. it was orange tho.. if that’s any help?) was also quite rough too. Unfortunately it was still missing something.. otherwise known as its long time chum the log flume =( All that was left of that ride was its station and the lonely shell of its theming. Lonely theming =( After that we went on some more insignificant rides until we reached the rapids. Last time I came this ride sucked. But they did well in its revamp.. because this ride seriously kicked ass! It kept proper owning its boats: BOOSH. PWND! MWAHAHAHA After that we just sorta walked around some more and got bored… all in all a top day out I shall leave you with a few more pictures of the fun: I like to think this shot is artistic This is the skycoaster. It was closed. Boo to you skycoaster. Boo indeed! Twin looper we see you! But still Boo to skycoaster. The missile should be here =( I like this picture just because its got a skull and crossbones on. Yarr. This is one of the most disturbing things ive ever seen. Hot Dog says “ohh yeaahh this ketchup sure feels good! I want you to stick me in your mouth.. ahhhh” Group shot wooop! Group shot 2. whoop again. Heres a picture of twin looper to round it all off. That was actually about the busiest the train was all day. lol. I hope you enjoyed my trip report
