  1. So the updated ride list for the South Florida Fair is out on the Wade Shows website. They have 72 rides on the list as usual (this includes their sky tram called Sky Ride which they list on the list). With the old midway layout, they had close to 90 at one point, but government required some rainwater sockets or something like that for the 2014 fair, don't really remember the full story, but basically the only solution was to change the midway layout. Now, because of that, the max # of rides they can fit is between 70-75, so they kinda have to pick and choose due to space. Anyways here's the link to the list: https://www.wadeshows.com/event-details.asp?eventid=45 New this year: Axis (their new refurbed Sizzler) Downdraft (similar to the Dartron Hurricane ride) Friendly Wheel (a Technical Park Dream Wheel) Haunted (refurbed dark ride) Pharaoh's Fury (this ride's been there before I think, but i'm unsure, but it's a Chance version of those swinging pirate ship rides) Seven Seas (Wisdom Genesis/Avalanche/Moby Dick ride) Returning this year: Bear Affair RC-48 Coaster (been absent since 2014, not sure how they're gonna fit this one as well as Mighty Mouse and Super Cyclone unless they were to alter the midway layout) Tornado (been absent since 2013) Didn't see Fighter, Yo Yo, Spin Out, Twister, or Pirate on the list. Pirate was probably replaced with Pharaoh's Fury (basically the same ride but smaller than Pirate and manufactured by Chance Rides instead of SDC), Yo Yo is likely going to the rodeo in San Antonio, and unsure about Fighter (it's listed for the Florida State Fair in Tampa). Not heard anything about what happened to Spin Out or Twister, as I haven't seen them at any of their fairs since 2017 or 18. The Midway Sky Eye wheel is probably just gonna be used for Tampa only (and possibly Central Florida Fair like last year), so that they have enough time to set it up. But question. Anyone heard about Rainbow and if it'll come out on the road soon? It's been gone from many of the former fairs it was brought to since like 2015 or 16.
  2. What happened to Wade Shows’ Twister and Spin Out? I haven’t seen either of the two rides listed for one of their events in over a year. Also Wade has a new ride called Axis, which is a re-themed Wisdom Sizzler, and I think the Starship 4000 has moved to 3rd unit, cus I haven’t seen their Area 51 listed for the 3rd unit spots.
  3. They had the exact same rides as last year (which was an awful year, it rained on Saturday and was cold on sunday) except for the new Ferris Wheel
  4. It was relatively empty (partially because of rain), but it can get pretty crowded
  5. I went to the Amory Railroad Festival carnival back on April. The provider was PBJ Happee Days Shows (yes this is a real company and they have a website). This event is one of their smaller size ones in terms of the number of rides they bring (they bring 10-12 rides usually because of the small space, but they own over 25 I think). But what’s odd is they haven’t had a Carousel there since 2011 (it was taken out from 2008-2010, but returned once in 2011) In the past they’ve brought rides such as a Larson Fireball, one time they brought a Gravitron, and they’ve also had a Tilt-A-Whirl, Bumper Cars, a Super Shot in 2015&2016, a Wisdom Himalaya from 2013-2016, and in 2017 they had their brand new Cliff Hanger There was this car&motorcycle ride for the little kids Sizzler (this was recently updated with LEDs last year; last year was the first time its been here since 2012) Sizzler again (with the Flatline 360 in the background) They brought their new Expo Wheel this year (they now own that Wheel, a technical Park Dream Wheel, and another technical park gondola wheel) They had a Cobra Coaster for the kids Expo Wheel and the slide Walking down the midway Tea Cups and Monkey Maze (never doing that one again cus last time I hurt my butt when I landed on the concrete after I went down the slide at the end cus someone moved the rug you’re supposed to land on) Here’s a better shot of the Monkey Maze Looking down the relatively empty midway (it’s usually more crowded than this, especially on armband days) Zero Gravity tilted on its side One of the carnival games Moby Dick They finally decided to put a sign up telling people not to put on their lap bars until the ride ops push the lap bar button (I was one of the few that followed the rule before) Zero Gravity Front of the Sizzler
