The only way I could see them rebuilding the queue now is if they're using the exact footprint of the go kart area for Catwoman, as the queue goes up and over the go karts and would be in the way of the new ride. I'm sure they analyzed all options and are going with the cheapest one.

This project has really gotten my antennae up. Really hoping for something along the lines of Helix or Taron in terms of ride style. SDC does such a good job with their rides that I know it'll be amazing whatever it turns out to be.
I love this idea, it would look fantastic there! I don't think I'm a fan of how that area around Spinsanity is starting to look, but if they moved the carousel nearby and redid that plaza, I think it would offset that a bit.
For what it's worth, we were there the first week of May and the crew was working diligently to keep LR running. The troubles even a couple weeks ago may not be the same troubles they face now- no idea honestly- but you can absolutely tell they're doing what they can. I also feel obliged to add (because I don't think I've said it out loud yet) that Lightning Rod is a MONSTER, and quite possibly the most intense ride I've ever been on. I do hope they get these problems sorted out soon so everyone can enjoy this masterpiece.
Unbelievable. As if there wasn't enough already to warrant this a top spot on my theme park bucket list...
I'm excited to see a ride through of this, I have no doubt that it will be amazing.
After a many-year sabbatical from the coaster enthusiast community, I come back to find... Vekoma clawing it's way to the top?! Who'd've thought! What else did I miss...
