The "Born in the USA" area was probably my least favorite in the park.

You had your standard model Vekoma Roller Skater....

And one of those 'Roller Soaker' style rides. Both are pretty low capacity and I dunno, just not that exciting me. The Roller Skater will be a big hit with the kids, and the 'Slippery When Wet' (cute name, BTW) is really the only 'water ride' the park has and I can only imagine the line that thing will get on a busy day.

And with attractions like this I just couldn't help to think that this area was kind of thrown together.

But there was LUBE!!!!

The State Park ropes course thing was kind of a nice touch.

And they get bonus points for quoting George Carlin.

THey did try to give it a "classic" Americana feel to it.

Snakes...why did it have to be snakes....

And then of course there is Maximum RPM.

It was closed the day we were there, but we did get to tour the area.

The queue has a VERY interesting "Karaoke" feature.

This could be a very nice touch!

They were cycling cars when we were there...

...and as you can see there are quite a few of them.

The station looks like it will be able to load quite a few at a time.

It's the "Ferris Wheel Lift Hill" that has been giving them problems. (We see you mushroom garden!)

This was my favorite part of the park! =)

The "Ice House" was one of the original buildings form the area and houses the ice skating show.

This cow was like the 'insulting fountain' at IOA. He drenched kids and made fun of them. Comedy entertainment for HOURS!
