The owner has crammed as many rides as possible in a small area. Iron Shark is a wonderfully intense compact coaster. Galaxy Wheel and Texas Star Flyer offer beautiful views of the area high above the Gulf of Mexico.
It's hard to completely knock the park for not having lots of rides for families (with young kids)to ride together when there are not a lot of rides overall.
You can avoid the crowds by visiting during the day, but be sure to stay hydrated. It will be much more comfortable when the sun goes down and even though it is more crowded the ride operators are efficient and work to mazimize capacity.
Food is standard fare, and the park serves beer and Margaritas.
