Chuanlord Holiday Manor is located in a rural area and even when you are in the park it maintain a very rural feel. There are plenty of rides and attractions, but no coasters that are highly thrilling. That is unless you consider a looping toboggan to be thrilling. At first glance the rides appear to be situated around a lake, but there are also paths through a fairly thick canopy of trees that must be explored to find all the rides. The well worn foot paths and rides create the atmosphere of a permanent carnival. At times it is difficult to determine which rides are operational, closed for repairs or just temporarily down.
However, the park does have a few hidden gems like the Gothenburg Ghost Ship (walk-through haunted house). There are also Chinese versions of many intense flat rides (Enterprise, Top Scan, Top Scan, Frisbee, etc..) for the brave to try. However, the true pleasure of Chuanlord is experiencing the unusual attractions, many of which involve animals. You can attend a show and watch animals performing tricks, try to toss a ring around a duck's neck for prizes (yes, live ducks) or take off your shoes and step in a pond and try to catch your own goldfish.
Although this area of the country is very humid at least the park is well shaded. Westernized food is difficult to come by but that's not surprising based on the clientele and bare basics approach of the park.
