Sea World in Australia may lack the more epic scale of the U.S. Sea Worlds, but it is an excellent family park. The signature dolphin show, with its tropical lagoon setting and nice array of stunts, is just long enough, and the Penguin Encounter actually gets you pretty close to the penguins. There is even an excellent launched family coaster: Jet Rescue. While thrillseekers may tire of the park quickly, kids should love it just for the animal exhibits alone. Note that even though the park is not that large, it can be a bit tricky to navigate.
Sea World Australia has a very nice mixture of shows and zoological exhibits, with a welcome focus on conservation that gave us 'good vibes'. The park has recently added a very fun and unique Intamin launched family coaster, a Splash Battle, and seem to be looking at expanding their rides collection, which will really round out the overall experience.
