Owned and operated by father and son, this park has a small collection of rides that everyone can enjoy. The classic Pretzel dark ride was refurbished after being bought from Bells, the Rock-o-Plane rocks, and Train operator is full of stories. Set in a public park like setting, they offer picnic pavillions and grills for all day rental, minture golf, an arcade, and a large pool during the summer.
Also hosted each year is a battle of the bands contest featuring high school bands form all over the region lasting over a month. Entry is cheap at only a few bucks and rides are tickets only.
Sandy Lake is a must for anyone visiting the Dallas area. And there is an Ikea nearby!
