Attractions |
Dizz is a fun Maurer Sohne Xtneded XC 3000 spinning coaster. Typhoon was the second Eurofighter built and the only one with a double heartline roll. Dream Catcher is a rare Vekoma suspended coaster. The placement of Evolution indoors in the dark makes it a much better experience as the layout is not thrilling.
The park has three additional indoor attractions that should not be skipped: Indiana River is a long water ride where you may get wet; El Paso Special is a shooting dark ride where you are "protecting" the West from Confederates and Mexicans; and then there is Desperado City, which you will think is either the greatest or the dumbest shooting dark ride ever created. Newer flat rides in the park include Sledgehammer (Frisbee) and King Kong. |
Food |
The park has offerings including burgers, fish and chips, mexican, and italian. But the best ptions are the local favorite liked grill wursts and fries. |
Operating Season |
The park is open from March through November. The park is open every day from May to August. Consult the park website for the schedule outside of those months. |
Established Seasonal events |
The park holds a Halloween celebration for a few weekends in late October. |

TPR Notes |
|
Is Bobbejaanland the weirdest, most eccentric park in Europe? Could be--and there's nothing wrong with that! Typhoon, with its vertical lift and 95-degree drop, is the park's major thrill machine among its five coasters, but Bobbejaanland has much more to offer. The place is a mixed bag of the American Wild West and a "traditional" amusement park, all reflected in a fun-house mirror, with plenty of flat rides, water rides (one heavily themed and indoors), and the most politically incorrect shooting dark ride anywhere. Everyone should enjoy themselves at Bobbejaanland--unless they've lost their sense of humor. | |

This park is great, with the Typhoon and the sledgehammer it has some of the best rollercoaster and thrill ride in belgium. The water rides, coasters and thrill rides are also fun and the shooting ride is just brilliant.

It's hard to get a handle on Bobbejaanland. Maybe it's just best not to think too much and simply enjoy this wacky place, with its eccentric mix of coasters (Evolution is one of the weirdest rides anywhere), politically incorrect shooting dark ride, and well-done (if rather random) Wild West theming--but that doesn't explain the odd mutant tree inside the entrance. Just pack your sense of humor and be sure to plug plenty of Mexicans, women, and Confederate soldiers on the El Paso Express, hombre (it's like a cartoon spaghetti western).

I think this park is interesting in some rides but it miss a lot of theming around! But it's still nice, Typhoon is pretty good, Revolution is surprising, Dizz is a good addition but a little too short in my opinion, the best thing of the park is definitely the staff, really pleasant!

Talk about a unique park. There is a lot to offer that you wouldn't find anywhere else. This is one of those parks that would "never be in America". The parks coasters are pretty fun also. Typhoon is intense, and the parks family coasters have their charms. Basically, a day at Bobbejaanland will make you smile. The park has a nice line up of thrill rides, a great dark ride, great water rides, and a great Western Area. And to think that it's in the same country as Walibi, it's the total opposite.
