I went here every weekend as a kid and it was great, but the park is very boring for any kid over the age of 10. All the rides are small, except the log flume and the scrambler (which is insane). The park is also very expensive. It only costs 5 bucks more for a Canada's Wonderland ticket, which is only 20 minutes up the road. But, if you want a more laid back day, this is the place to go. Plus you're on Toronto island so you can go for a walk around the island and check out the cool little cottages or the parks.
I headed over to Centreville back in 2008 as a diversion from Behemoth Bash mainly to ride Haunted Barrel Works as I'm a dark ride fun. It is certainly an above average dark ride, but I really don't find anything else of interest in the park. The park is well shaded and a nice retreat from Toronto, many families picnic on the island which is good thing and the food selection was lacking.
If you're looking for a good family park to take the kids to but don't want to make the drive from Toronto to Wonderland, Centreville is a great place to spend an afternoon. There aren't any major rides to speak of, but the park does have a log flume, a (great) classic dark ride, and a fantastic skyride. And you can't beat its setting out on Lake Ontario!
