The CNE, more commonly referred to as the EX in the GTA used to be the biggest and best event to happen in Toronto every year. The Comet along with all the midway rides that used to come in for the two weeks were absolutely stunning. Today the midway is no bigger than what you would find at a fall fair. There are numerous buildings with shopping and and a petting zoo in it. The food building is where it's at. There is at least 100 places to eat and most of the food is delicious. Last year, there was a stand where everything had bacon on it! Even though the EX has become smaller over the years, it is still a great Toronto tradition and if your in town while it's on, you should take a visit.
