If you are on the beach and want an extremely overpriced ride on a roller coaster or any other rides then this is for you. It is a nice relaxing walk on the pier if you've been at the beach for awhile but the pier doesn't really offer much to do. I highly recommend going to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co and then taking about 10 straight rides on the coaster. Your stomach will forgive me!

The highlight of this park is that you can see the famed muscle beach and the original Hot Dog on a Stick stand, both within eyesight.
The morgan coaster is more like a large dragon wagon and while they spin you around twice, you'll wish they didn't. This park is more geared towards families with young kids. Not much hear for the adults. But hey, if you make the trip, why not check out the indoor carousel, easily the highlight of my visit.

I went to this park with high hopes and ended up very disappointed, As stated in other reviews just ride the coaster to get the credit and prepare to get off of it thinking "I have ridden kiddie coasters more intense than that" and be sure to hit up the Gyro Loop it is well worth riding, and if you are in the area at night it is worth a quick stop to check out the lighting insanity on the Ferris wheel. I guess the way I can put it best is if you are in the area and have the time check it out but don't cancel any other plans to do it because there are so many better parks to visit in So Cal

As a history buff, I know a lot about the history of multiple parks, and from my studies, this place has gone way downhill since its glory days. Just ride West Coaster for the credit, and the Gyro Loop because it's fun. Nothing else on the pier is really worth your time/money.
I got more of a thrill bodyboarding on the waves than I did on anything on the pier.

Pacific Park is a fun little park on the Santa Monica Pier. Other than the roller coaster, most of the other attractions are fairly standard and can be found almost anywhere. The only real unique aspect is the location. If you are in the area, it will keep your interest for about two hours if you enjoy carnival rides. Otherwise, you'll find yourself bored.

Overpriced food. Medicire rides. Yup, this is your typical boardwalk. Although it does have some nice views, I would suggest stopping by, riding West Coaster (for the credit), and the Moser Gyro Loop (which is actually quite fun). After riding the only two worthwile rides, spend the rest of the day at the beach; you will probably have more fun riding the waves there.
