Arnolds Park is a compact little place consisting mainly of old-school flats and chilldren's attractions. No big thrills for the thrillseekers. The park sits on the edge of Lake Okoboji, a popular recreational area. The park can easily be completed in a short time as crowds are generally light. The staff is friendly and helpful. The park has limited food offerings, but more food options serving the lake are located right outside the park.
I visited this park in 2009 and had a lot of fun. The Legend roller coaster has some nice pops of airtime, but is also very "bouncy" on the bunny hills. I did not ride the kiddie coaster, but found out after the fact that coaster people can usually ride it. The park has some classic flat rides such as the #-o-plane rides. The log ride seemed to have some bee problems. The park is located next to a lake, which is the summer weekend destination for Iowa families.

Pros
If you ask the park manager, enthusiasts are generally allowed to ride the kiddie coaster.
If you are only into the coasters, pay per ride is the better option.
