Tivoli Gardens is two parks in one. Situated in the middle of Copenhagen, this quirky park is very popular with residents and tourists of all ages.
The front half of Tivoli Gradens serves as a garden park and entertainment venue surrounded with beautiful landscaping and many restaurants serving a wide variety of food at different price ranges.
In the rides area, the park mixes the old and the new with much success. Throw in a couple of dark rides, a fun house, and some hard-to-find flats in cramped quarters and you have a unique and charming park.
Tivoli is the most beautiful park in Scandanavia. This unique collection of quirky attractions, beautiful gardens, restaurants, and Danish charm reportedly inspired Walt Disney to push on with Disneyland. This park caters to all age groups, with a very diverse array of attactions, including an excellent scenic railway and one of the cutest little B&M coasters anywhere; an extensive fun house (offering plenty of "never in America" fun); eccentric dark rides; and flats that are run on insane cycles. Everyone should find something to like at Tivoli, and the friendly staff is a plus.
Tivoli Gardens is a very good park, but the coasters are not great. Daemonen is very short for a B&M floorless, Rutschebanen is "ok" (the brake man could have done a better job making it more intense!) Other than the coasters, the flat rides are amazing! Tivoli Gardens is a very efficient park, and the food is great! Tivoli Gardens is a very good park.
Beautiful park in the heart of downtown Copenhagen.
