Adventureland is a small park that caters to families, so if you are a thrill seeker you are not going to find a lot to do. Most of the rides are for younger children and unfortunately many of the family rides have a minimum height requirement that makes it tough for families can enjoy together. The recently redone Ghost House and Crocodile Run are unique rides in the park
Priced right for families this park has a little of everything. Take a spin on their coasters or chill in the dark ride. You'll also find a frisbee and plenty of spin and puke rides to satisfy your urge. Praking is a little crazy, but all in all I would reccomend the park for a few hours to anyone in the area. No admission fees. (But you do have to pay to ride ;) )
This park is a very small and very reasonably priced park. This goes for the food and admission. It was kept very clean and was a nice park, but there are no real thrills. The rollercoaster is small but okay. Overall this is a nice clean, cheap park, that is great for families
I live about 15 minutes from here and grew up going to Adventureland all the time because its the only amusement park on Long Island. The haunted mansion was always a favorite, till they tore it down this past year, but it has seen better days. The layout is somewhat small and crammed together, but even to this day i love bringing my neicse and nephews their to hangout for the day and relive my childhood.
Adventureland reminds me of the midway of a large/largish county fair. The Hurricane coaster is painful. There is an interesting flume ride. The rest is flat rides; lots of kiddie rides. It's fairly well maintained. Worth a look if you're in the area, but don't make a special trip.
