I believe Steel Pier now has new owners, and had been barely hanging on. I could tell during my visit. The tickets were very expensive, and I spent most of the time watching my cousin's kid do rides. I did get the credits- the kiddie coaster was fun, but the spinning mouse had a really big jolt engaging the lift that really hurt.
Nothing else looked very impressive, all very standard stuff, though it was nice to walk out on the pier. I didn't eat here, but you're probably better off on the boardwalk outside the pier or a casino. If you're in AC you can get the credits, but if you want a boardwalk get down to Wildwood.
This is park is a very scary chernobylish park that quite honestly is a dump. Its very expensive, the employees live in trailer parks(im assuming), and the rides are all scary black market rides. I was worried the whole five minutes I was here, and that was on the corny spinning mouse. Eh, stay away.
Steel Pier really is nothing special. Located near the Trump Taj Mahal on the Atlantic City Boadwalk they have a few adult flat rides, a kiddie coaster, and a spinning mouse from hades. Beware, it can get expensive to spend an hour. Personally, I have no reason to go back.
