Galaxyland is located inside the West Edmonton Mall, make sure that you on the ground level of the mall when looking for the amusement park. The park has a cute space theme based on the mall's mascot. The park has a few high intensity rides with Mindbender as the marquee coaster, making this park a pilgrimage for rabid Schwarzkopf fans. Mindbender generally runs with cars facing forward and backward, however if the coaster is not busy you may have a wait a little bit of time between dispatches. Food may not be abundant within the amusement area, but a food court is close by with a wide range of options at a reasonable price.
Beyond the Space Shot, most of the intense rides may be difficult for those with motion sickness. The rides with low height restrictions are generally designed for children, but adults can ride along also. The Haunted House and Fun House are slight upcharges that are worthwhile if you want to experience everything.
Nothing beats a controlled environment, eliminating weather issues. Even if you get bored at the park you can easily find lots of other activities throughout the West Edmonton Mall and return later in the day for more riding. Besides over 100 places to eat within the mall there is a: bowling alley, movie theatre, casino, water park, skating rink, mini golf, a dolphin show and so much more.

You're there for Mindbender, and not much else.

Don't expect a lot of theming, don't expect a lot of shows. You're in a mall after all, and you're there to shop till you drop. And that's the whole purpose of Galaxyland: The world's most intense steel coaster: Mindbender. It is key reason you are there; and it's worth every cent to ride it. In terms of coaster nirvana, it is over the top, featuring blackout-strength Gs and an impossibly tight layout. While the steel and concrete scenery aren't the greatest in the world, you'd probably not notice it while riding. A good collection of smaller attractions round out Galaxyland.
