Walt Disney Studios is still not a complete park, even with the addition of Crush's Coaster. You will not need as much time in the park if you don't enjoy the show/theater/tour attractions, but luckily they are mostly of above-average quality.
First-time visitors should certainly try everything, but returning guests are unlikely to need as much time in the park and will probably only want to ride their favorites. | |

Lacking for a Disney park, but what they have is good

Walt Disney Studios is probably the smallest of all the Disney parks, with less than 20 attractions and less than 5 dining locations in the whole park. Excluding the carnival-style flat rides, however, most of the park's attractions are of good quality and are unique to this particular park. Since about half of them are shows, this is not a full day park unless you are a show person. However, if you are, it will take a full day to do everything due to the length of the shows and the lines generated by the park's low capacity attractions. The park's largest issue is its theming, which is somewhat tacky and poorly done for a Disney park.

Honestly, this park shouldn't be branded as a Disney park. I'm not even sure where to begin... Their version of Rock n Roller Coaster was inferior to it's Florida counterpart (same coaster, less theming), as was Tower of Terror (they have the California Adventure version). Aside from those two big attractions, everything at this park seems to be built with low capacity in mind, which is puzzling for a Disney Park, as they usually try to build the highest capacity rides possible. Crush's Coaster was fun, but again, really low capacity and no Fastpass. The new Toy Story area was essentially three low capacity flat rides (technically, one is a coaster) slapped down next to each other. The problem with this park is nothing here is a "must see"

After reading all the negative press about this park, I went there expecting the worst, but actually enjoyed myself. Their shows are their strength (Stitch Live is surprisingly good, as is the car stunt show), but their ride selection is pretty weak (the Studio Tram Tour is a bad joke). But Disney is working on the park, so time will tell. For now, it's just an add-on to a DLP visit.

I did not have a good time at WDSP. The employees were extremely rude and unhelpful. Fastpass machines were almost all broken, and there was a lot of trash and garbage. The food was also pretty bad, definitely not up to Disney standards. There was also a huge lack of rides/attractions, and the stuff they did have was only so-so. There was a huge lack of theming as well.
