NASCAR Speedpark is a decent family entertainment center that happens to feature a small kiddie coaster as well as a couple of small children's rides in addition to the standard Go Karts, arcade, and mini golf. I remember the go karts and mini golf to be decent and fairly well maintained but not the best in the region. The coaster is a small kiddie coaster and nothing more than a credit run for most enthusiasts. Even though the park has a NASCAR branded name the affiliation wasn't more than checkered flag decorations, a couple of replica cars and some driver merchandise as prizes. A clone of Formula Rossa called Kyle Busch the ride would be a great future addition!
Overall the park seems a little bit uncared for. I am a NASCAR lover and expected a lot more. The coaster was closed as were three other rides. The indoor simulators were old and wornout and the staff was not very knowledgable.I passed on the go-carts, didn't care to spend the high $$.
To start things off, the prices are outrageous. $32 for an unlimited pass? No thanks. Second off, a lot of the rides (including the coaster) have been closed due to weather for about two years now. Food prices are outrageous, rides are very mediocre, and shade is limited. The only redeeming quality about the place was the go-kart tracks, which all had great layouts. If you're in town give this park a visit, but be ready for various rides to be closed due to "weather".
If you like Nascar then you might like this place. I do not like Nascar and the main reason why I went here was to get the credit. I was in town for Dollywood and this was a short drive away so I figured I'd check it out. The credit is nothing special...got it and now done. I only recommend this if you are in the area...it's really nothing special to write home about.
