Wild Waves is separated into a rides area and a water park, with each being on separate sides of a lake. The biggest draw is the water park.
Parts of the park are well shaded as it is built on the side of a small hill with plenty of foliage.
The amusement side lacks a high-profile coaster, and many of the flats are run-of-the-mill without a modern standout thrill machine. However, many of the flats have low height restrictions and can be enjoyed by families together.

Just a small DECENT park...

I moved to Washington this year, and this was the first park I hit. The scenery is nice, but a lot of rids are tucked away in the forest. A lot of the rides aren't close to each other so a LOT of walking has to be done. The woodie is probably the only decent coaster, and the Water Park is better than the park alone. Food is also a problem, since their aren't many choices, but this was pretty much all I expected from this small park....

Being from the Northwest Wild Waves, used to be known as Enchanted Village, is the most accessible theme park to the Seattle area. Over 20 years I watched this park grow and blossom into the much larger park it is today. While not having any really great coasters, the park does boast a nice amount of flat rides most hidden up in the trees out of sight. While it's not the best or most notable park, if you're ever in the northwest I strongly suggest a visit with good friends to help make for a fun day and make some good memories like I have. My hope for Wild Waves is that the current owners will actually keep the park long enough to really round it out and bring this park to it's full potential and make it really worth traveling to.

Wild Waves has a great foundation to build on, they just aren't building much on it. The woodie is a top 10 believe it or not and they have a very nice scambler tucked away in the forest.
I think the park tries, but they need to try harder. Maintenance and staff training both seemed to be issues on my visit.

Wild Waves is a decent amusement park and water park combo that seems lacking a major coaster on the amusement park side. The food was decent, although VERY limited. Half of the park is tucked away in the woods, offering plenty of shade. The most irritating thing I found about the park is the fact that half of their flat rides require 2 people per seat. This wasn't too much of a problem for our group, but I separated for a while, and was unable to ride many of the flats due to the rule. Finally, both sides park can get very busy, so plan for visits on weekdays that have colder weather to avoid the crowds.

Wild Waves is a decent park, but it has too many children-oriented rides and not enough coasters or thrill rides. The waterpark has many slides, but is often overcrowded. The back of the theme park has a lot of shade and a water ride, so it serves as a good alternative to the waterpark. Although the theme park has a few good rides, reliability is a problem for the park's many Zamperla rides, and the major rides usually have long lines. Wild Waves needs a little more, but it's a good start.
