Chimelong Paradise shares many of the traits found in second tier US amusement parks. The park has a couple of big coasters (10 Inversion and Dive Coaster) along with some gentler ones. There are plenty of flat rides with varying degrees of intensity. Family rides tend to be concentrated in one area which includes the indoor Kid's Land. Kid's Land is worth a visit for the air conditioning, quite a relief from the humidity.
While the park does have a 4D theatre there are no dark rides. The park has various western style shows but the one bonus is the action stunt show with a typical plot (good guys fight bad guys with stunts and fire and the token hot chick). Operations were slow by western standards but much faster than Happy Valley parks. The park has sit down restaurants with both western style food and traditional Chinese food, however service and operations are very sporadic at the sit down restaurants.
From an environmental standpoint the park appears well though out. It has plenty of native trees providing a nice shade cover, including a walk-through rain forest area, and adjoining the park is Chimelong Hotel, billed as China's Largest Eco Theme Park Hotel.
