TPR's Road to Cedar Point Tour 2011


The next stop on our tour was Knoebels! In my opinion, one of the best parks in the world! But what you need to know about Knoebels, is that it's a different kind of "Best Park" than a Tokyo Disney or Europa Park. This is the best of the "down home, traditional amusement park!" And what do we mean by that? Well, read this entire update and I think you'll find out!


Welcome to Knoebels TPR! You're about to have one of the best days of the tour! If not one of the best days of any TPR Tour!


Let's start the morning out a little "twisty", shall we?


The short version of the Twister story - there was one at Elitch Gardens in Denver, CO. It was destroyed. Knoebels build a version of it based on the original design, but had to change it slightly. It still kicks a lot of ass.


How's is going twisty TPR?


The coaster kind is sort of folding into itself, and really, "Twister" is a very appropriate name for the ride!


This is about the only bit of straight track you'll find! =)

The giant "double helix" filled with a buffer of laterals is the moment that Twister is known best for!
