The coasters are not intense, but the park has a decent flat ride package. During the hottest times of the day the ride side is quiet while the water park gets very crowded. The back end of the park provides nice shade is you are not visiting the waterpark.
Operations at the park are better than average except on Extreme where park policy only allows for 50% capacity.
The flat ride package consists of a mix of intense flats and many traditional rides. At night many of the traditional family rides are lit up nicely.
Plan to stay a few more hours if you include the waterpark.
The water park is obviously the main attraction of Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin'. Dixie Landin' has some fun rides, but many are generic. The water park is a different story. It has a great variety of slides and has some record breakers. I'm looking forward to their new Quadruple Aqua Loop. If you happen to be in Louisiana, you should definitely give it a try.
Two parks for the price of one! Amazing Water Park.....a difficult theme park.
The Water park is great.
The park has space to expand and the people who work there are nice.
Family friendly and cheap.
NO SHADE AND VEEERRRRRRRYYYYY HOT!
Generic Rides Nothing Special
Best Known For
Xtreme is pretty fun but very rough and some how is the hottest part of the park.
A decent place if you wish to nab some credits and just happen to be traveling from Texas toward Flordia. Worth the detour but not a special trip.
