Does anyone have to visit Old Town? In a way, yes--if you're really into people watching at bizarre roadside attractions. You will see some interesting specimens of humanity here, and enjoy some bizarre shopping opportunities (usually involving Big Johnson shirts and other sexually suggestive items). Think of it as ghetto Downtown Disney with rides. It's as though Spencer Gifts had opened its own amusement park.
Old Town really sucks. I've been to town carnivals with better staff and rides. May want to bring an air horn to get an attention of a ride operator to run the ride for you. Windstorm is worth it though. There is also beer in the area. It's easy to hate on, but just know that it is what it is (A place with two credits and a beer).
Oh this poor pitiful park. We stay in a resort in Kissimee and attending this disguting place. I feel bad saying it but this place is a dump. We only had a blast because it was soo much fun to make fun of. I dont know if you want to laugh come here. That is all I can say.
Old Town gets made fun of a lot, but its really not all that bad, it's just not all that good either. The rides are in two sections that are seperated by outdoor shopping with one off stores and restaurants, very touristy.
The big boy coaster is actually pretty fun, and don't forget to whack the worm. They offer POP options as well as single tickets.
Its certainly worth checking out if you have a spare hour or two.
Old Town is a lot of fun... don't expect any amazing rides, great food, or a professional staff. Honestly, Old Town is the type of place that is best enjoyed with a couple of drinks in your system. The park is free to enter, so it's easy to just stop by, take a lap on the coaster, and maybe check out anything going on.
Old Town is kind of a dump, but in a GREAT way, kind of like a mini Pigeon Forge in Orlando. It has a couple of coasters that are no more than credits for whores but the place can be a lot of fun with the right group of people. The world's tallest skycoaster is located at old Town but i never personally been on it. There is also a year round haunt that is supposedly "Top 10" ?, but I'm septical. There are a few decent places to eat, probably somewhere to drink, get ice cream and lots of shops. If you have a night to kill in Orlando, old Town is worth a visit.
