During the parks early years, Wild Adventures was viewed by the enthusiast community as a pit stop on I-75 between Atlanta and Florida to ride a bunch of mediocre cloned coasters.
In recent years, the park has upgraded its profile with water park upgrades, much improved animal exhibits/interaction and introduced a few more flat rides.
The Lorikeet Aviary and water park are excellent ways to escape the heat when the sun beats down too hard.
The park is also known for its ability to bring in aging musical acts that are still hanging on.
