dr.gumbo Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 I've finished newest coaster, its an Intamin hyper (well it isn't really as its below 200ft) done in the style of the two new ones in Japan and Denmark and thats about it really so heres the statistics: -Height: 105ft -Speed: 51mph -Length: 2500ft -Elements: -105ft drop, two camel backs, large turn, bunnyhop, two more hills, a twisted hill and a finally hill with lots turns mixed in all of that. Enjoy! EDIT: Downloads back up, must of removed it by accident! I have decided to pull of a Sixflags and alter the ride in a simular fashion to X2, one of the alterations is to the the name Operation X-tream to Expedition X-tream, more changes will be released later including support refinement, colour change and more! EDIT2: I have re-released Operation X as Expedition X or X-tream, this version has a new colour scheme (which I would like you to give a opinion over), refined support work and minor alterations to the trackwork. Enjoy...comments and critism are welcome! Operation X-tream-a2.bmp Before... Expedition X-tream-2-071114215424000.bmp After! Expedition X.nltrack
Steffen_Dk Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 This was really good.. Good things: It was smooth. It didn't have any yellow or red G's. The layout was awesome (and it was obvious that you'd taken inspiration from the ones in Japan and Denmark) Bad things: There were some hills where it slowed down quite much.
FeelTheFORCE Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Great job! Very smooth. I couldn't find anythoing wrong with this coaster. It was packed full of airtime also! This would be very fun!
Lalle555 Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Great coaster! Love the compact layout and the airtime nice support work.
dr.gumbo Posted November 15, 2007 Author Posted November 15, 2007 Put it back up with alterations to the ride!
Théo the little french Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Great ride! I really liked! It what smoother than what I imagined and Gs are pretty good (I was a bit "affraid" when I saw the curve juste after the first drop, I thought Gs would be terrible lol). Colours a cool too lol
dr.gumbo Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 Whoops! Just realised I've uploaded the old version so I've put the new version up! EDIT: Don't expect to much of a change, I only alterd the name, a few supports and colours
Théo the little french Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 What's different between the old and the new track except the colour?
durkadurka Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I think the yelllow/black colour scheme looks much better! Cool coaster....
JJboy100 Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 i liked this but i only had one problem with it - all the transitions were very robotic, now when i say robotic i mean that they started and stopped with lots of jerks. im sure you could fix this with a bit of smoother or something...just enough to make the transitions smooth. If you did that...10/10!
DBru Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Wow that was great! Really smooth and good air all the way through! But is this what you are entering in the competition? If so, it's 5 feet too tall, and 1 mph too fast... Amazing coaster!
dr.gumbo Posted March 14, 2008 Author Posted March 14, 2008 ^ As I said on the other thread, I'm altering it to fit in with the rules. Thanks for the comments BTW
deano Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Nice work, i really liked this coaster, good airtime and a good pace throughout the entire ride.
