Manny In England Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I'm very sure that everyone here knows the current definitions of the three height boundary terms but is there a set pattern I've missed? Eventually a coaster will do 500ft and this will surely keep going until dangerous G's are reached so what would a 500 ft coaster be called? (I don't expect a huge thread just a few educated guesses to see opinions)
willski Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 ^Whatever the park building it wants to call it. There is no logic behind the naming process. If there was, a 400 ft. coaster would be known as a Teracoaster. I think Heide Park's Intamin Megacoaster that would have broken 400 feet was to be called a Teracoaster, but it was never built. Shame...
CoasterFanatic Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Very similar topic here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38619 Please discuss this in that thread. //Closed
