Buddy johnson
I'm happy to show you around some of the parks in Korea (and the fact that some of you guys will be coming to here) I think that my country has just 2 major theme parks, Lotte world and Everland. and i love Lotte world more because i live in next to the park(it is located in the middle of city). but other parks are also cool. I went to Gyeongju world last week riding a new B&M invert, by the way! So here are some photos in Lotte world, plus other parks. enjoy it i love them and this is Everland, (this photo is captured by a friend of mine) B&M cool is he horse or pig? and, hello!! there is Gyeongju world! there is dark rollercoaster, named The Comet Express. it is also intamin coater which is spin coaster. maybe you can hadly find where they are. but i think their water is just.. decoration cool Atlantis(an intamin Aqua Trax). loves it outside of the park is on the lake, and surrounded by buildings, apartment. a little castle. you can pass over this cute bridge to go outsides. well...it's vekoma one Lotte has exclusive balloon ride, but i hate them. Lotte world! This is indoor part of the park. this park is repainted and fixed within 6 month. See you! back to Lotte world. it's before parade time, which is very cool. and they has Indianajons-like attraction in the Egypt side
SharkTums
Cool! Nice to see some of the parks we'll be at in less than 2 months. Lotteworld looks crowded...how long were the lines? Hope to meet up with you!

Hope to meet up with you! A Quick Word; NEVER EVER go to the Lotteworld in public holiday! It could take more 3 hours per an attraction. But, do not worry about it. Lotte world has a reservation system for the super-crowded attractions.

Tanks4me05
Buddy johnson, do you have information about Gyeongju World? I typed it into rcdb and it came up with no information. I am surprised that they don't have information on that park, and they have a huge B&M Invert! Maybe you mis - spelled it? EDIT: Nevermind, I think you did mis spell it. I got info on a 147 foot tall B&M Invert called Phaethon at Kyongju World in South Korea, although there were no pictures.
asr
Tanks, RCDB uses the spelling "Kyongju World". Anyway, pretty cool photo TR, the parks in Korea look pretty cool. Also, what did you think of Phaethon? EDIT: Tanks, there are pictures and a video of Phaethon here.

ECZenith
Can you give us some more details on the ride that's like Indiana Jones? Indy's one of my all time faves and anything like it has to be at least decent.

Buddy johnson
It's nice to see some Koreans on TPR! Now I can put my Korean speaking skills to the test... It's been 5 years so it's a bit rusty... Oooo you are great! your korean is better than my english. I'm learning English now so i'm very awkward. and sadly this site does not decode my korean word so i have to use only english type. no matter what Lotte world has common visitor as usual i think. the place, which is a actually musical theater--not hotel is constructed last year, so they celebrate their 1th birthday with Broadway musical "LionKing". i'm going to tell you guys more information later with better english. Buddy johnson
Yesssss! Thanks for that! I had no idea there were more of these types of attractions elsewhere in the world. First of all, this ride is called "Pharaoh's Fury" so it's pharaoh themed. I think they use different equipments to Indiana jons because Pharaoh's vehicles and systems are Intamin's one. (Lotteworld loves IntaminAG so much) It is low version of Indy as you know--also 2 times smaller. haha they are pretty cool, by the way. Plus they has a endless queue themed 'The National Egyptian Museum' and after that there is boarding station. For more information, click on the website address. Official info : http://www.lotteworld.com/Global_eng/01_Adventure/AA021.asp?mn=Mn00 one part of Pharaoh's fury, right before getting into climax. night Atlantis pic, by the way

IwantRevenge
doesn't atlantis adventure have stand up trains or something... I could be making this up...but these restraints do look a little weird http://www.rcdb.com/ig1646.htm?picture=
Ed
^ You're talking complete bullcrap i'm afraid. Atlantis Adventure's trains are sit down and make you sort of open your legs as far as I can tell.. Why the hell did they paint it grey? It looked fantastic in white!
ECZenith
Wow, and to think I'd never heard of Pharoa's Fury, it looks pretty good with the fire effects!
SharkTums
I'm pretty sure it's made to resemble a 'jetski' hence the weird seats and opening your legs. You do NOT stand up.
ECZenith
Oh I remember reading abou thtat ghost house, if you have any photos of that in particular I'd really like to see them, I'm a huge fan of all dark rides and walkthroughs if you can't tell and Asia in general has tons of them. MrMorgan
Ohhh, this PTR so makes me want to go with on the Korean Trip! Great pics. I've always been very intruiged by Atlantis Adventure. I just rode Fliegende Hollander at D'Efteling for the first time this weekend and was once again convinced that watercoasters with great theming are always a hit!
