Trip Report

I know that since I've been doing Photos and writing really long trip reports, that nobody reads, I'm just going to put down a few things that are worth mentioning in cronological order.

 

-First we did Rolling Thunder twice while racing! We did both sides, and we lost BOTH TIMES!

 

-When Kingda Ka opened we ran over there, and walked right on up into the station. We got the dark blue train (Blueberry Muffin). I finally poped my Blueberry Cherry and got the 3rd row. Not for nothing, this had to be the best ride I've had on KK in a ling time. The launch was a nice, smooth tug. We flew over the top so we got major ejector. And we got a lot of air on the bunny hill. That almost never happens! Also, while one station was returning, the other was dispatching at the same time! I've never seen this happen!

 

-We went on Kingda Ka a second time, and it was the worst ride I've ever had on it. We got Blueberry Muffin, 4th row this time. (we ran into Bimal in the station this time). When it launched, some guy in the 1st car lost his change. It hit the kids infront of us, it went up Spike's shorts and it hit my right in my face (eye/forehead area). It hurt so bad. But wait, that's not all! As we crest the tower, more change comes flying back, and starts hitting us on the way down! Everyone behind this guy came of the train complaining. We should of filed a complaint and GR, but decided against it.

 

-Sky Ride had both sides open! Which was the longest wait of 20 minutes

 

-Rode Chiller in the "real last row" for the last time.

 

-Ran into Matt (Silver Bullet) and Ultimate Coaster and his sister

 

-We spent an hour and a half chilling at Best Of The West.

 

-El Toro's lift doesn't slow down as much today than earlier this month.

 

-El Toro was running extremely well today!

 

-We rerode Rolling Thunder 5 times (last time Matt, Ultimate Coaster and his sister ran into the station, and Matt sat next to me). On one of our rides, we were on the right side and the left side kept saying they were going to win, but gues what! They got pwnd! The lift stopped and when they got to the brake run, the whole train pointed and laughed at them! It was fantastic.

 

-Batman crew rocks! Pat (the new guy) told me he wants to be mentioned in the TR...so here he is! And Walter told Pat earlier in the day when the station was filled, that it was me a Spikes 14th birthday, and had them all sing to us!

 

-Overall, all the rides were running great today! I'm really impressed. Great job Great Adventure! Keep up the good work!

Foward or Backwards?

 

Okay, for those of you who have been hiden in a cave on mars with there fingers in there ears and there eye lids sewn shut! Than you would know, that the current Robin train is Batman in disguise pretting to be Robin. The real Robin train (well...remaing 3 cars) are actually sitting behind Batman waiting for Robin's current last car. So it can be attatched to the new Batman train (Robin) so they will both run with 4 cars, both being red!

 

IT'S MATT!!!!! Oh my god! Now everyone on the internet knows what he looks like, and will now stalk through parks!

 

Ah yes, I love eating at Best of The West

Here's the new guy Pat. He wanted me to put him in the TR. So here he is. The first picture was blurry, so I took a second picture and some guy walked infront of me, so I moved and te picture came out like this!

Okay, so Spike dropped me off around the corner from my house. And this is what I walked out of the car to! God damn that sucks! This is 7 houses away from me too!

 

One more note! I realised, last year today, was my worst visit to the park I've ever had...weird...

We coudln't figure it out, until I went up and touched it, and it turned out to be shaving cream!

Good TR and pics. I bet it hurt getting kit on Ka by a small object travelling that fast- I think the problem is when they say "no loose objects" nobody thinks of coins in their pockets.

I was on GASM once, and appear to be one of few people who liked it.

Just curious- if you've been on TTD at CP, how would you compare it to Kingda Ka? I just had my first Dragster ride a couple weeks ago and wasn't all that impressed.

^If you're not impressed by TTD, don't look forward to KK.

 

KK is by far a downgrade.
