benzo41190 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Dude, Its Illegal to stream your own videos! You have to put it in a zipped compressed file. Otherwise, its a cool coaster!
Golfie Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 ^ Is it really? I don't know if you are kidding or not.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I don't think it is. If it was why would we be able to do it?
benzo41190 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 11. Uploading videos - All video uploads larger than 10 megs MUST go in the "Professional Amateur Videographer" forum in the Members Only area. These files MUST be zipped. If your file is less than 10 megs, it can be uploaded in the public forums. ^right there. If it is good, Robb will edit it and stream it himself. Im not trying to be an ass...but I dont want to see this topic deleted or you banned.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 ^I think rule was written before we could stream. *scratches head* Could a mod clear this up please?
BiCoastal Kid Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Whatevs. Anyway, it looks like you handbuilt your ride? It could be easily made in Elementary with the HSAK. Would take about half an hour, max. Looks great though. That first tunnel looks really fun.

Would take about half an hour, max. Looks great though. That first tunnel looks really fun. I already asked him about it; he said that he made it with elementary.
DATman Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 ^^^Still, it would've been changed if he thought it was okay. Bottom line, if the rules say don't stream, then don't stream. Why even think about the rule? If the rule's there, obey it, as these people are nice enough to offer us this site for free.

I only used premade helixes for none other then... the helixes. Everything else is hand made. I just checked, the video is only 7MB. From what is conveyed in the rule, the video must only be zipped if it is OVER 10MB. Can we get back on topic now?
Golfie Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 It has to be zipped. How can I zip it?
Wes Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 How do I make a zip file? If you're using Windows XP you should be able to "right click" on a file and choose "Sent do....." and then choose "Compressed (zipped) folder." You could also use WinZip or WinRAR (do a google search for them)
Golfie Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 ^Thanks. I just figured that out before I checked back. I'll edit the first post... post haste!
