Photo TR: Mundo Divertido

Postby chaos » Mon Aug 07, 2006 9:18 pm

I finally went to Mundo Divertido today with a friend, and it had improved a lot. It wasn't ghetto at all. Everything was clean, and the employees were friendly. The Looping Star didn't have that much headbanging in the middle car, and had amazing airtime on the 1st drop. However, there were twice as many rides as ride ops, so you had to wait at a ride for a while before you could get on. I had a good time, but the park might not be worth the wait at the border.

That looks SO much nicer than the two old parks! How long was that border wait? It looked MUCH longer than when I used to go down to Ensenada on weekends.

It seems to me that "Mundo Divertido" would translate as "Big Diversion"...but what do I know.

That's a really nice little place, sort of reminds me of Castle PArk. We need one of those in the Valley, just like that.

Looping Stars are horrible, horrible rides.

Actually, the border wait was only an hour and a half. The park was eerily similar to Castle Park. It even had a darkride in the arcade. However, it needed more rides. We rode everything we wanted to in less than an hour. As we were leaving, I noticed a waterpark a few miles away, so you might want to go to both parks on the same day.
