BACT Attack: Pittsburgh

Derek, Nicole, Heath and Kim met up with Catrina and I for dinner yesterday at the Church Brew Works in Larryville (Pittsburgh). The following pictures are from CBW and Derek and Heath's first visit to The Sharp Edge. Enjoy.

Derek went overboard into a gluten laden stupor. After finishing off the Apple Lambic, he finished off with the Cassis (Black Currant).

You know it almost time to leave when Derek starts ramming large objects into his mouth. Hell ... at least it wasn't a foot.

I, on the other hand, just can't seem to get it down.

Derek takes the camera and proves his self-portrait style is the best.

No worries Heath. If it comes on draft, it is not a fufu beverage. Even if it is red.

Next up was a beer from some of Wally's hippy brothers ... Lagunitas Sirius. A tasty creme ale.

No Nicole! Sharp instruments and alcohol do not mix!

I opted for the special Belgium, Wittekerke.

Even Nicole snagged a "Beer". Cranberry Lambic (Lindemans) on draft

Catrina is handling her role as my DD well.

At Sharp Edge it is all about the Belgium Drafts. About 30 in all. Of course, they have a great micro selection also.

Next up was the Sharp Edge in all of it's Belgium glory

Next up was the Celestial Gold with a really bad attempt at "Heathface"

While Catrina and I waited for the others to arrive, I enjoyed a "Heavenly Hefeweizen". I still don't have the whole self-photo thing down yet.

Well I bet that Derek will be Barry's Poster Child this week for the Caption Game. That picture of him "Swallowing" the bottle is just the kind of photo he likes to post!

I really hope for Derek's sake Barry doesn't find this thread!!!

Ted...you'll only get better with practice in the whole self-portrait thing. Meanwhile we can all at least laugh at the horrible pictures you provide us!

Oh man, what a fun night. Too bad we didn't see more of you and Catrina during the day yesterday.

Definitely was an awesome night spent drinking good stuff with good people. Next time we'll have to get there earlier and do a brewery or two beforehand!
