Hi,
We'll be going to CLP tomorrow and hope to see you, Ken.

Any updates on what is and isn't working would be great.
We're staying at Camperland.

I'm going to my grandma's cottage at Canadohta Lake for a week in a couple of weeks, so I might head over to Conneaut if I have time.

I dont know where I will be tomorrow. I have been between big rides and kiddieland. So just ask the dipper op. and watch name tags mine just says KEN. And says KIDDIELAND.

The Round Up is down.

And if when you arrive the Bluestreak is down do not worry it should reopen later in the day. This has been going on all week.

I looked for ya, but didn't see you.

yeah, the BlueStreak went down for a bit. The last car became detached fromt the front of the train. Looked cool. We were standing in line at the train when my daughter snapped a pick of it. Then we saw the last car coming over thr rise behind it.
I'll do a pick report when i get time.

As many of you may have heard Conneaut Recenty recived the now Closed Erieview park's FrightZone. Work has already begun to prepare the ride for its reopening this summer. It will go inbetween The log cabin gift shop and the skee ball arcade in the main midway.

Absolute sweetness, old-school darkrides are among my favorite rides.
How goes the park's debt? I heard something about them getting around it somehow, but I never got any good details.

^ Sadly at the beginning of the season It was 1.9 million dollar debt. but now it is 2.2 million dollar debt. The people the court chosse to run the park ain't the best. A retierd Princable and a retired dog cacher.

Its been a while scince I gave a full up date so here we go.

Sadly the round up broke for the last couple weeks of the season.
Ferris wheel might be soon retierd.

They did try bonus weekends but they were not getting enough people so it was cancled on the third week.

Pumpkin Fest was still huge even if the weather was bad.

The witches Stew is broke once again. The ride op ran it at full speed with the break on and the break broke off. It will cost 2,500 for a new break and 900 to take it apart and look for more damge.

The hotel is hosting holiday in the park on weekends from now till december 17. It features trees,a gift shop, a bake sale, a sligh ride through the park, and visits by santa.

Hi Ken, thanks for the update on the Park:

Would you consider running 1 NAD train and 1 original train on the "Blue Streak"..?

I'm glad the "Bug" is running again after it's 3 year break, how is it preforming..?

It's such a lovely feeling for an old ride to be working again and seeing the riders faces smile when they come off.

I never got the chance to ride Blackpool's version of their "Turtle Bug" and now they destroyed it along with the Whip. Having a horrible SLC in it's place.

I am planning to visit the Park in 2008, what is the best time before the school holidays to visit..?

Hope the Park can raise lots of money next season for the unique rides and attractions.
