Choose Your Favorite B&M or Intamin Megacoaster

Choose ur favorite Mega Coaster By either B&M or Intamin...If you have more than one favorite...or have a favorite for both coaster designers, then post it. (I know some people dislike these polls, but hey...i'm at work and bored...bear with me...it's just for the sake of fun...No whining!!)

P.S. There's no "other" option because I checked "rcdb.com" and those are the only Mega Coasters operating by B&M & Intamin....Have Fun!

Technically an Intamin mega coaster is between 150-299 feet. A giga coaster is 300-399, thats where MF falls in.

Anyway I chose Nitro. It's my all time favorite coaster. I love the floater airtime and the helix and not to mention the first drop, the first time I rode it, it literally took my breath away. I dont know why, but I'm more of a floater fan than an ejector.

Yea, I knew that, but I guess it slipped my mind. Maybe I thought it was talking about simply 'hyper coasters' in general, if you know what I mean.

I voted for Goliath, even though I havent ridden it....

For me, it's Intamin over B & M by a mile, I much prefer the intensity and ejector air of the Intamins. My fave of one's I have been on is Ride of Steel at SFNE.

I choose Expedition GeForce. I think it's a one-of-a-kind coaster. It was very fun when I visted Holidy Park in July of 2004. Very exciting 1st drop ever on any coaster that I have ridden to-date. Long and twisted layout...plenty of headchoppers and airtime or "ejector air". Love the all the trees surrounding the layout...make it seem faster somehow.

Apollo's Chariot. I've only been on two in that group and I love the ejector air you get on Apollo. Nitro is fun too but like I said I perfer ejector airtime.

I definately prefer SROS over the others, but I love the train design of B&M speedcoasters. Nitro, IMO is better than the two SROS clones.

I chose Nitro but If MF was on there that would have got my vote.

I have not ridden Nitro since 2001 and when I rode it did have ejector air more so than Apollo but Nitro's layout is much better IMO

Can't beat the Nitro. Great Airtime on those bunny hills. Plus the Helix makes me black out for a split second, lol

For sentimental reasons,I chose Apollo's Chariot because it was my very first hyper,but anyway you vote,we have been spoiled by both Intamin and B&M hypers,IMO. SES

I prefer "Intamin mega coaster" as the layout is better, has to have lots of on the hills and good speed throughout.

Less than 250ft hign otherwise I start to panic going up the lift hill.

Love Helix's and tunnels filled with dry ice.

B&M are good coasters but they have simular designs and layouts.

^^Same here! I usually grey out/get tunnel vision in the helix...I love the feeling!

The only one I have been on, on that list is Apollo's Chariot so I voted for it.

I like the Intamin's over the B&Mers, as they're more out of control and face paced, whereas the Beemers seem like a ballet. That said, I had to go with Expedition GeForce out of the bunch, with Superman at SFNE a close second. If Superman was in the woods and the park wasn't a SF with its spectacular operations, it'd be a tough call. I love the location and layout of GeForce though, and that first drop is the bomb diggity.

I have to go with Apollo, because the only Intamins I've been on aren't on the list, and Raging Bull felt like a waste of space to me.

S:ROS @ SFDL's wins it for me.

SFDL's has great scenery, while SFA's is over a very ugly field. There's not even grass in some spots.

Both Rides beat Raging Bull however. It was a great ride, but lacked the forces of the Supermans.

I love Nitro the best, but I've also been on Apollo's Chariot and Goliath (SFMM).

Of the coasters on the list I've been on Nitro, Apollo's Chariot, Ride of Steel at DL, and Superman: Ride of Steel at SFA. I chose Apollo's Chariot as it is the most fun to me. Nitro and Ride of Steel at DL come close, however.

If Millennium Force was on the list, I would vote for that.

My favorite would have to be Diamondback...but that's not a choice in the poll. (Can a mod please change that? )

I wasn't to impressed with SROS (NE), so I voted Nitro! Amazing ride. The airtime is fantastic!

It makes me incredibly sad that I have not been on any of these.

Next summer can not come soon enough...

Apollo's Chariot gets my vote. It's the first mega-coaster I have ever been on and its in my top 5 coasters of all time. I love the helix and the airtime following it.

I chose Apollo. It's my favorite coaster of all time and the airtime is amazing! The helix is a nice touch too.

Bizarro looks the best so I voted for that. I've been on Millennium Force and Diamondback but they aren't on the poll.
