coasterdude5 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Well since Geboldi Oasis has been cancelled, I can't just leave everybody with one RCT3 park, (Geboldi Studios) Once known as Geboldi-Brooks Lake, The Brooks company has gone bankrupt. Geboldi now has full control over the quiet park. But Geboldi has their hands full, the park is in pretty bad shape. But Dan Geboldi has set forth a primary goal. "We want to keep the feeling of a "traditional" amusement park. Our goal is to put the amusement back in amusement park. We have several ideas of how we are going to do this. We will be offering free ferry rides across the lake as well as possibly bringing back a much-missed attraction: RAZU." Well, this seems to be great news! This will be Geboldi's first "classic amusement park" Here are some of the existing rides: - Geboldi Express (train) - Zodiac (Wooden Twister) - QuadShock (Vekoma Looper) - Geboldi Ferry (boat ride) - Omega (Intamin standup) Stay close for more updates! Here are some pictures of Quad Shock: Geboldi Ferry QuadShock
CP_RULES Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 This looks awesome. I love your Geboldi parks, and I dont have RCT2 so this is much appreciated! Thanks and keep up the good work.
coasterfreak101 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 YAY! Geboldiness! And, RAZU!!!!! I will sleep happily tonight Nice looking coaster and park, does the back of QuadShock start slowing down before it's done with the final corkscrew? lol! Keep it up! I can't wait for more!
coasterdude5 Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 Razu Video! Enjoy! http://webzoom.freewebs.com/coaster101/Razu_0001.wmv
coasterdude5 Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Here's some shots from the park! Pretty much everything has been stripped around Omega. I think that's their next area to work on. TurboFall Another nice shot. Packs in the forces! No Batman theme, though. Here's the park's Intamin Standup coaster: Omega. Razu and TurboFall A view from the island. TurboFall Moon Wheel They've really captured the "classical" amusement park.
CP_RULES Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I really like this, but I do have one question.... Isnt Omega a B&M? O well, I like the park a lot!
viking86 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 The early Intamin standup coasters are very similar to B&M standups. Check out these coasters to see the similarities http://www.rcdb.com/installationresult.htm?column=1,10,3,4,5&order=1,2&model=177
coasterdude5 Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 ^Yeah, thanks for clearing that up! I'm trying to get the point across that this park has been around for a while.
coasterfreak101 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 *claps* Very good! The Intamin stand-up looks cool, and the entire lake setting just looks amazing! All of the pics look great with the lake in the foreground. Keep up the great work on this park and all the other GEBOLDI parks!
kennywood!007 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 This park is great! I love the corkscrew so simple and yet looks great! The landscaping on it is real good. The Stand-up is looking cool, and I really like the name!!Keep it up can't wait to see whats next..... -Zack
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 OMG I have only seen 3 of your parks and i am blown away, would be honored if you would let me try my hand at the Geboldi franchise but the themeing probably not be as good as yours though. I have more of a knack for foller coasters and not themeing maybe we could team up though, only saying.
