Photo TR: Jake and Andrew do 3 Disney Parks in 1 Day

Postby Jakizle » Wed Dec 08, 2010 1:03 pm

So as some of you might know, I moved over to Orlando in the summer to go to UCF. I've been here like what, 4 months now? I had yet to visit any of the Disney parks except Magic Kingdom, so on Monday Andrew (swimace) asked me If I wanted to hit up the parks this week. We were both free yesterday, so we decided to go! Since I had never done anyone of the other 3, we decided to try and hit all of the majors in one day! I think we rode quite a lot and here is a little Photo TR!

Sidenote, it was in the 30-40s all day (uncool for Florida).

Welcome to Hollywood Studios! Despite freezing our asses off we made it in!

First stop of the day brought us to the little Pixar section. I highlight recommend this!!!

IMG_6246.JPG
It was like 9:15 (opened at 9) and Toy Story Mania already had a 45 minute wait! We grabbed some fast passes for a 12:15 return time.

IMG_6248.JPG
Next stop was a new credit for me, Rock n' Roller Coaster!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6250.JPG
When we rode we actually got stuck here! It tried to launch but didn't. A little reset and we were off. I really liked the ride, pretty smooth!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6253.JPG
A hop and a skip next door brought us to Tower of Terror, something I have wanted to ride for years!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6254.JPG
Just like Rock n Roller coaster, this was basically a walk-on!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6255.JPG
They were working on the tower, but regardless I really liked the ride and it offered even more than I expected! Easily a favorite.

Next up we went to China.

The Great Movie Ride was really interesting, to say the least. Definitely worth experiencing lol

IMG_6261.JPG
We had some time to kill until Toy Story Mania so we tried this out- please don't. Youtube can give you the same experience as this one.

Since it was cold, why not go to a show with FIRE???
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6264.JPG
Dude, bring that fire over here! Seriously it was so cold!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6270.JPG
Ught oh, they better get out of there! Yay fire.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6271.JPG
Kaboom! The fire felt really nice haha
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6273.JPG
Since the picture didn't come out, the wait was up to 80 minutes! Thankfully it was 12:16 (:
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6275.JPG
The reason for such long waits = not very good capacity. 8 people per train that always stacked!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6282.JPG
Anyways I thought the ride was super fun despite the large amounts of jerking this gun required. Andrew proved to be the best jerker during the game.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6284.JPG
Ok, all of the majors at Hollywood Studios done, off to Animal Kingdom!
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6285.JPG
Merry Christmas!

IMG_6287.JPG
There were a lot of people here, and I don't know why.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6288.JPG
The only reason we were here was to go to DINOLAND.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6290.JPG
Dinoland houses one of the best rides ever- everyone please come ride Dinosaur.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6293.JPG
They strap you into this really cool dark ride system then throw you around dinosaurs in the pitch black for a few minutes. It rules. "Not our dino!!!" We made it alive even though the ride said we wouldn't.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6295.JPG
Yuck.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6297.JPG
Even though Andrew hates this part of the park, there were credits here
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6301.JPG
Luckily the wait was like 10 minutes for Primeval Whirl so we did both side...Andrew even got +1! Also, not sure how these people look like their having a good time on the ride.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6302.JPG
We got to walk under a real dino.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6305.JPG
Okay okay, they also have like the world's most expensive roller coaster here! It was completely new for me.
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6311.JPG
First we went around some big rocks
Viewed 1100 times
IMG_6312.JPG
Then we traversed across some grassy area, only to...

IMG_6315.JPG
Climb Mt. Everest, which gives a great view of Disney properties.

This doesn't look good.

Alright I admit, I couldn't do without getting this typical shot.

Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6358.JPG
More dark rides! This one really confused me though?

IMG_6360.JPG
The next section we visited was...The Land?
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6361.JPG
Oh man, this can't be good news! It ended up having like a 85 minute wait all day so we skipped it.
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6364.JPG
Instead we went on an epic boat ride adventure
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6370.JPG
We got to see how Alligators are made...

IMG_6375.JPG
However it was time to go swimming with Nemo and friends.
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6378.JPG

Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6383.JPG
First stop was Mexico, as we were starving and Mexicans somehow managed to make the best food ever
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6385.JPG
They also have a boat ride here- can't say I cared for it, though
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6387.JPG
In Norway they had a sweet boat ride though, with drops! And Vikings, trolls, polar bears, and oil.
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6392.JPG
In case you didn't know, the Germans make some kickass chocolate! Andrew said this shop is new? It was super popular!
Viewed 1088 times
IMG_6393.JPG
This was pretty much the best desert ever. I need to go back soon and discover more food from Epcot.

IMG_6395.JPG
By now it was super dark and the golf ball looked pretty.
Viewed 1088 times

After our ride it was time to go home though- Illuminations wasn't for another 45 minutes and were super cold and really tired! Thanks for reading (:

Yes it does! Also, sadly did not monorail this trip. We were gunna try to make it to Magic Kingdom to ride Space Mountain and say we did all four parks, but they closed early! That would have meant monorailin' :(

^I actually managed all 4 parks in 2004. It wasn't too hard to squeeze it all into 1 day.
