It doesn't surprise me that the coaster they're getting is a Intamin because of the Tampa coaster and drop tower. Multi-ride deals is what they tend to do.

I like what I see and have read and thanks for posting the photos from the announcement. The only thing is that the name Mach Tower doesn't seem to be in the same league as some of their other classic ride names. I still vote for Der Fallinfast. ;)

I wonder if the re-envisoning of Oktoberfest will be spread out over both years and if Wirbelwind and Autobahn will be relocated in the process.

I don't know of any other manufacturer that has a drop ride with a ring that spins other than Intamin. Even with 30 seats the wait still shouldn't be all that bad.

I've gone pantless!

The only ride they mentioned as a candidate for relocation was Das Katapult.

The rollercoaster seems to me "similar" to what's being istalled at Busch Gardens Tampa.

So I didn't win with Der Fallinfast. However! Is it too early to suggest the name Das Launchinfast for the coaster in 2012?

Sounds like another Back Lot Stunt Coaster. Are they going to move Der Katapult or leave it where it is?

^I think we're talking something bigger than Backlot Stunt Coaster, but time will tell. Das Katapult is, indeed, going to be moved.

I think the pretzels alone are a good enough reason to get back to Busch Gardens!

Oktoberfest seems to be getting alot of love, which it deserves after the removal of BBW, but is there a reason that there never seem to be new rides installed in Ireland? I am quite excited about both this coaster and the one going in in BGT
